Thirsty's — Restaurant in Grapevine

I would like to express how disappointed I am with the customer service here at this place. I have been coming here Since 2019 and the customer service has not always been that great however this was the last straw.

As a business owner, I run a tight schedule and SO for lunch sometimes I would come here and get a haircut and on the way out I will stop here to grab a smoothie and I will have my card stamped so that way I can clean my 10th free Smoothie.

I go to do so and The young lady at the counter said that she will not accept my cards because I have to have all 10 stamps on one card. That’s not possible if I don’t bring my car with me every day and sometimes they are in my other vehicle. But she said to hold on because she’s going to get a manager, but instead she took another customers order in front of me.

So you mean to tell me that I have to wait for someone else to think about what they want to order and then order And she goes to make their food then she goes to have them to pay while I sit there the whole time until she’s done to go get a manager to speak with me in regards to a small free smoothie?

I have spent way too much money at this place for me to be treated like this and pushed to the side and it seem as if every since change of ownership or management, this place has went downhill. And that is including sanitary. If you notice, they will grab your straw, your cones that you eat ice cream from that you also eat and other things that you would put your mouth on to enjoy but you’re taking a risk of food poisoning but I still the benefit of doubt.

We stumbled upon Grapevine Mills Mall as we were driving back home to Illinois and decided to stretch our legs a bit! About 5 mins before closing time we seen a smoothie place called Thirsty's! Anita was the only one working the counter and she was extremely friendly and personable. As she was making our 5 Watermelon Smoothies and 1 Mangonada she asked if we were from the area. I told her we were traveling back home and still had 13 1/2 hours left to go. We probably had a good 20 minute conversation. She was so sweet, sincere and very caring. Judging on other reviews I think the menu should detail what the elotes and the loco chips consist of as it seems the employees don’t even know. I got the takis locos, which the chips itself is a $1 up charge. To be handed a bag with just takis and corn is crazy. Seeing there was no nacho cheese, which is literally what’s it’s supposed to have if you go literally anywhere else, I was charged another $2. For watery cheese at that.
