It's teeming with wildlife, freckled with gopher holes below and gulls above. There are pavilions for family gatherings and scenic benches for quiet contemplation. You could not ask for a more pleasant place to spend an afternoon.

I really like this park. It's nice that there isn't as many goose droppings. Sometimes I feel as though bicyclists can be a little unforgiving here though while I stroll with my toddler, they don't seem to slow at all at the sight of an 18 month old walking on the path. Still, a beautiful walk, in town. They've also just added a play area for kids to the existing frisbee golf course and it looks like lots...

This is a great picnic spot. The water is pretty, the prairie dogs are cute, and there are always birds to watch. Dog friendly trails with plenty of snifftastic entertainment as well. I haven't looked for restrooms, but the playground has been clean and well-tended every time I've gone. Great place for biking, as well, with complementary air...
