I really like this park. It's nice that there isn't as many goose droppings. Sometimes I feel as though bicyclists can be a little unforgiving here though while I stroll with my toddler, they don't seem to slow at all at the sight of an 18 month old walking on the path. Still, a beautiful walk, in town. They've also just added a play area for kids to the existing frisbee golf course and it looks like lots...

The park features stroller-friendly walking trails along the bank of the rive that extend to Gibson Park on the opposite shore. It's teeming with wildlife, freckled with gopher holes below and gulls above. There are pavilions for family gatherings and scenic benches for quiet contemplation.

Read moreThis is a great picnic spot. The water is pretty, the prairie dogs are cute, and there are always birds to watch. Dog friendly trails with plenty of snifftastic entertainment as well.
