Five Guys — Restaurant in Great Falls

Went around 8pm and it was fairly busy but not packed. The first incident that occurred was when the cashier girl had asked another co-worker i assume to cover her at the register while she went to the bathroom and the other girl she asked just yelled st her no and that she was busy however all she was doing was walking aimlessly sweeping random things so that wasnt very professional to see from what from my POV looks like personal drama they let is customers in on. And the second thing is that basically nobody in the restaurants order came out right and i know this because i could hear everyone complaining that their burger was incorrect after waiting for 20 mins or so. My boyfriend and i had to play operation on our burgers to switch then around with each other just to make them half right because we had already waited about 15 mins and now our food was wrong. Normally id ask for them to remake them as they were completely incorrect ( they were rung up correctly BTW) but with the amount of time already spent waiting and the other customers with the same issue i chalked it up to poor teamwork and poor attention to detail and left. 5 guys is a great burger place and I was excited to see one open in Great Falls. However, they refuse to accept phone and online orders for take out service and when I've stopped in the lines are horrendous. I understand they're incredibly busy since people in Great Falls are starved for restaurant options, and I'm no covid alarmist and think the government mandates we've suffered through the last 1.5 years were an egregious overreach and likely caused as much harm as good. But having dozens of people queue up in close proximity inside the restaurant during a massive resurgence of Covid from a "Delta" variant that's as contagious as chicken pox and infects upwards of 50% of even vaccinated people seems like a really poor strategy. Better to limit customers inside store for the time being and encourage take out orders placed in advance. At least leave the doors open for ventilation and air exchange! The trip across town to this restaurant is always worth it for me, and I would even travel over 100 miles if necessary. The staff are not only fun, courteous, and entertaining, but they also know how to create an enjoyable and eventful experience, even on ordinary weeknights. The delicious burgers, fries, and shakes are top-notch, and their excellence is the perfect finishing touch.
