Just moved here from Nashville, TN about 3 weeks ago. This Sonic is the closest one to me. We're BIG Sonic goers. I've come to this one now about 3 times already. This last time today will be my last though. I used the "My Sonic" app at this location for the first time. I've been using the app though as long as it's been out. I was able to order, and checkout on my phone, but then when I went to check-in at the stall I was at, it gave me an error message. So the app took my money, but wouldn't let me finish checking-in. The lady that finally helped me said that they'd been having that problem. Anyway, the reason I won't be back is because the workers there are just rude!!! First of all, let me just say... when I went there just now, it was basically dead. Not many cars there at all. I pressed the button for service. Was told to "hang on, she'd be with me in a minute." I have never in all my years of coming to different Sonic's been told to "hang on a minute." So I waited.... and waited. Finally I pressed the button again. Only to just be ignored. For probably a total of 15 minutes. (Which, when you're at a dead fast food place feels like an eternity). Finally, I saw on the app where it said I could call that store if I had a problem with the order, (like a problem placing the order on the app itself, type problem). So I called. A very nice young lady answered the phone. I explained my issue with the app, and she said that she could see the order I placed, and that she'd bring it right out to me. Through ALL this, my red light "button" was STILL activated WAITING for someone to answer me and take my order. And that nice girl saw that when she brought my food out, and apologized for that. Which I appreciated. Someone inside that store, other than the nice girl who helped me.... has a serious attitude problem. Like I said though, it's not the first time I've gone. And they were rude then too!! The very first night I ever went, a bunch of them were laughing as well as the lady taking my order, over the intercom while I was trying to order. Seems like that store maybe doesn't have any good management there overseeing everything. Or who knows, maybe it's the management themselves acting like that. All I know is I...
Read moreWe had never been to a Sonic and decided to grab a quick meal on our journey back to alberta. We wanted to order from one of the parking stalls and have it brought out. The vast majority of the stalls were out of order. Many of them looked smashed up and in much disarray. We decided to go through the drive through. I was most excited to order a sonic blast. I asked for a m and m blast but they were out of m and ms. With much disappointment I then asked for my second choice, a banana milkshake. They were out of bananas. I settled for a recess sonic blast instead. This time success. We finished our order and rolled up in line to pay and receive our food. We had only one car ahead of us but it took forever for them to get their food. When it was our turn we rolled into place, paid the clerk and then waited. After about 5 min they brought out our drinks and my sonic blast. And then we waited and waited and then waited some more. My ice cream treat was ment to be for dessert but was a quarter melted by the time we received the rest if our order. I do not understand why they would prepare this first. Im sure they knew they were behind. When we finally received our food we departed the parking lot with our eyes set on the long road home. I had ordered chicken strips and chili cheese tots for my meal. I cannot describe my disappointment when i opened the packaging. Im not sure exactly what I was expecting but my chili cheese tots looked like a dog had puked them up. They were likely waiting the long amount of time we were waiting for our order. I do wondered if they look and taste more appetizing when fresh. I pulled out my chicken strips and they looked hours and hours old. Completely inedible. My boyfriend's burger was was pretty good. He was happy with it. Im not sure if all sonic restaurants are as poor quality as this but it will most def not be on our list of over indulgence when we return to...
Read moreI've had enough bad experiences at this Sonic that I finally have to speak up. I've tried various times of day & night, avoiding the usual rush hours etc, but something always goes wrong either with the service, my order, or both. I've worked fast food & retail/customer service so i try to be pleasant & patient when I'm the customer. The cashier tonight didn't bother to reply when I said "Thank you, have a good night". I've never seen an "adult" working inside from what i can see so I'm not sure if the young people working there are getting the proper training or supervision. Even times when there are only 1 or 2 cars in the parking lot & I can see several employees inside, my wait time has been extremely long, 15 minutes before ever taking my order to 20-30 minutes to get my order which is never large or complicated. I've gotten the wrong sandwich, missing fries, wrong toppings, completely wrong flavor slush or drink, and tonight (for the 2nd time) my shake was obviously not mixed well enough so when I took the first sip of my Butterfinger cheesecake shake all I tasted was a very tart mouthful of cream cheese?! I'm not sure how they make their cheesecake shakes but apparently it's not with bits of pre-made cheesecake. When I got home I had to put it in the blender & mix it up thoroughly myself. Furthermore, my supposedly large shake was a good 3 inches from the top when I got it & that was with the whipped topping. Why are they skimping on the shakes? It was more air than milkshake! I've given them several chances but they let me down EVERY time! So I'm done. I'd rather pay a higher price at DQ or Ford's for better quality & service. What a shame Sonic, you've lost a...
