Montana Sub Shop — Restaurant in Great Falls

Normally I love this place. However this time, there was a balding guy wearing ear buds taking orders at the counter with a bad attitude. I very clearly ordered a Billings. Guy was condescending about toppings and rushed me through the process, even though I was the only one there.

After a bit, he calls out "Here's your Kalispell!" which I ignore, because that's not my order. Must have been someone else's who stepped outside or something. "Hey! Here's your Kalispell buddy!" tossing it on the counter in my direction and gesturing to me. I told him that I ordered a Billings. He argues with me and says "You said Turkey. That would be a Kalispell."

The word "turkey" never left my mouth even one time. I always order the same thing every time I come here. I know what my order is. I left annoyed because it wasn't worth arguing with the guy about. Maybe if he turned down his music or even took his ear buds out, he'd be able to hear orders. Secondly, when someone says you got the wrong order, you don't argue with them. You fix it. This is not an advanced concept. I'd really like to hear from management so they can make this right. For $20 (including tip) I should at least get what I ordered.

This is uncharacteristic of this establishment. Normally you guys are amazing...

Worst experience in a long time. My family purchased two half sandwiches, we made it all the way home to find out both were made incorrectly. Upon calling to complain, we were told by staff that our name and order would be taken and we could come pick them up at our convenience, free of charge. Today we tried to retrieve said order, even called in to let them know, on the phone call we were told all was good and our order would be waiting, upon arriving i was met with a request of payment, turns out they never intended on "making good" on a botched order, and still wanted payment. The woman staff said, in a very irritated voice, that she would pay for it, threw her hands up and walked away, the male then irritably said just take it and turned to walk away, just to turn around, look directly at me, and stated "and don't pull that again"...

Very rude all around, poor customer service/interaction, 10 out of 10 the worst experience I've had in years.

This was my first visit, the sandwiches were extreamly good. I tried the tuna fish and they make it to order with your choice of "Mayo" or "Miricle Whip". The bread was so soft and fresh, it's baked in house. If you like "Subway" or "Jimmy John's" you are going to love this place. Give this place a try your going to love it. Also seating in VERY limited there are 22 chairs in the entire place. If you want a "normal" size sandwich 4" the Kids menu is a good choice, you get one meat and cheese, chips and a drink. I'm not sure on how big the half and full sandwiches are but it looks bigger than the competitors. The staff here is awesome and very helpful to a first time...
