Taco Treat is generally the best place in Montana (they have one in Missoula) for inexpensive Mexican food. I have been going to Taco Treat for 50+ years. However, this "location" does not live up to their reputation. I will not go back to this location. I was there a while ago, had a problem with how hard my corn shells were and told the managment. They we contrite and fixed the problem. However, a few days later the same problem occured. I complained, they fixed it and said it wouldn't happen again.
I was there late last week, the person in front of me was getting her order. I asked her if her shells were soft. She indicated they weren't. She just rolled her eyes and shrugged her shoulders. When I ordered I specifically asked for them to make sure the shell was soft not crispy. It wasn't as bad as other times, but it wasn't as good as Taco Treat has always been. I shouldn't have to be their quality control.
The other locations have never let me down, this location continues to do so.
In addition, the bathroom floor was littered with toilet paper and...
Read moreI pulled up to the drive-thru, and it took a while before the lady spoke. When she did, her tone sounded irritated, as if I was inconveniencing her. I ordered a number one with light lettuce, and she snapped back, asking what I wanted to drink in a snotty manner. I told her, and then I pulled up to the window. Without a word or even a hint of a smile, she just held out her hand for payment. I handed over the money, and she returned it with a quick, silent motion, closing the window before I could even say thank you.
When she finally handed me my food, I thanked her again and wished her a nice day, but the window slammed shut before I could even get a response. I got home to find my taco completely wrong—no lettuce at all, barely any meat or cheese, and the tortilla was a sad, thin joke of what it used to be. I had always recommended this place to my friends and family, but lately, their attitude and service have really gone downhill. It's a shame, because the quality just isn’t what...
Read more0/5 Stars. You may want to reconsider a new manager. Very unprofessional. We called to let them know our order was wrong, after explaining the problem, he said he made our order himself and then hung up. Then we thought maybe he was having a bad day. We get it. We all have bad days, but to not fix the problem? And hang up? We come there every week to give them business, and because they're the best tacos in town! (This is our family outing, and the staff has been so nice. We really did like coming here until this). We went back to the restaurant to simply asked if they could look at the food( we never asked for a refund or new food). The manager never even looked at the food, he turned us away and said the district manager told him to do so. Mistakes happen, not a big deal, but to just not offer to fix the situation at all, very disappointing. We will drive farther to go to a different location that's actually worth it. The tacos and staff are great but the management has room for...
