I went in today... Monday evening around 7pm because I found a good deal on Groupon. I bought a $20 gift certificate for only $9. It was my first time and I can't believe I hadn't tried them sooner. I never did because I thought they were the same as Alberto's restaurant which is just okay in my opinion. This place is completely different and a million times better! This place is amazing!!! I ordered the large combination dinner... It is not large... It is huge! My wife ordered the chicken fajita dinner. My wife is definitely pickier than me and she loved her food... It was fresh, hot and delicious. My food was the same. I like that they offer some extra hot options for people like me that enjoy some serious heat. I just can't say enough to express how happy I am that I tried this place. They are now my favorite place in Greeley for Mexican food. Today was a tough day for me and I was feeling blue all day... This food was so comforting... Really the whole experience was so great and just what I needed. What a nice surprise. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I can't wait to go back. Thank you all so very much!
Update 3-1-22 Went in today after not going in for a while. Stomach wasn't feeling good... And I didn't want to eat anything except their food. Was the only food I was craving or could really even see myself being able to handle. They are still the best! Top quality food and the portions are still so generous... You really get your money's worth which is great because I can never get enough! People are still as welcoming and courteous as ever. Thank you guys... Keep up the...
Read moreAlbertos has become a breakfast burrito shop and nothing more. I have eaten here many times over the years. The entrees are getting smaller and smaller with fewer toppings and now they rely purely on smothered chili for any flavor. I recently ordered the Navajo taco. If you have ever ordered an Indian Taco at a carnival or festival, you know what they should look like - a nice fluffy but slightly crisp flat bread with beans and beef covered with cheese and toppings. That's not what I got. I got a flour tortilla soaked in grease from a deep fryer, and then slathered with refried beans, flavorless taco meat and way too much lettuce. The entire thing is smothered in green sauce which is way more watered down than it used to be. It did not look good and it tasted even worse. Their beef is the lowest quality and they have to smother it to have any flavor. The tortilla was too soggy to identify. The beans would be better straight from a can. There was no sour cream no olives, almost no tomatoes, but lots of lettuce to try and cover up this disaster of a taco. They charged me almost $9 for the single taco with no drink. It wasn't worth $2. I advise skipping this place unless buying basic breakfast burritos. The quality is...
Read moreI went here for the first time today and it was genuinely so amazing. I had always gone to the other one and even then I rarely went. I think I have eaten Alberto's twice in the past ten years maybe? Today I was out shopping with my mom and decided to do a quick stop for breakfast and the service was so amazing. One of the workers talked with my mom and I because we are vegeterian and did not know what we could get without being too much trouble and she spoke with us for a couple minutes about certain ingredients used and such so we can eat and eat knowing we are not getting lard or broths that may come in food. Despite the fact that breakfast was almost over, her and the amazing chef made us some fresh potato, egg and cheese burritos. This type of service is the service that all places of buisness should strive for. A welcoming and warm environment that is there to help their guest.
If that has not sold you on this amazing place their food for sure will! That was one of the best breakfast burritos I have had in a very long time. It reminded me of my abuela's that she would make for me when I was a kid. The chili was so yummy and the perfect level of spice. I will be making Alberto's a staple stop for me...
