The owner of this store berated me for 15 minutes after I went to pick up my sons last paycheck. He refused to give it to me despite the fact that they let him go. It’s been two weeks since this happened and Colorado law states any company that lets an employee go has 48 hours to give them their last paycheck. My son is a minor. He continues on by telling me my son wa irresponsible and needed to learn morals and integrity. He said that he is a typical millennial and this is what is wrong with our society. He wouldn’t let me have a word I and I had to continually ask him to stop and let me talk. He wouldn’t even let his own pregnant employee have a word in and I had to ask him to stop and let her talk please. I told him he was behaving unprofessional as he was doing this in the front lobby in front of not only customers but also his young son and his two young employees. He agreed that he was acting unprofessional and eve said so during the conversation. I finally told him if he thought I would be bringing my son over so he can berate him like he did me over a four hour paycheck he was wrong and yes I did drop the f bomb. I admit I did flip him off as I walked out the door after having enough. As I was walking out the door he told me to get out of his store. Apparently, he hadn’t noticed I was already out the door. He then followed me out of the door not content with his 15 minutes of fame and continued telling me stuff about my minor son and how he was going to be living with me until he was 50. He does not know my son. My son is a hard worker. He has had a job for a year continuously. He is a good student. He’s a star athlete in multiple sports. He plays for a semi pro soccer team. This guy just saw the chance to bully a woman and try to bully a kid. Of course I called corporate because this is apparently how Subway treats customers...
Read moreI don't go to Subway hardly often, to say the least. But since Jersey Mikes and Silver Mines sucked the last previous times, I thought I'd come here for my lunchbreak . So I ordered the Mexicali and even watching it be made had me suspicious. The person making it first put too much may/mustard, barely taking any off after I requested it. Then I asked for some extra tomatoes, put more than I asked, skimpy amount of onions, next to no jalapenos, then didn't even include the avocados and when I requested it, they smeared it all over and once again, after requesting a second time to remove half of the gob that was put to start with, maybe, at most, a little over teaspoon amount was taken off. Plus they charged me extra for the avocado, even when the sandwich had it included! You might be asking, "why I didn't stop midway through and cancel it, saving $15?" Well, I'm not an a-hole and I wasn't going come off as an abrasive Kevin. Plus I didn't want to be late from lunch and cause an embarrassing scene that probably wouldn't have gotten me a refund. That and per what I perused over the other reviews of folks who didn't get their well-deserved refunds from their unpleasant experiences. And if that wasn't bad enough, I got sick and bloated off of the sandwich! I'm never coming to this location or even ANY Subway...
Read moreUpdate: I suggest you don't patronize this store. After 5 star reviews for the last 2½ years, I just walked out, and was told by employee Sandra, "Ok, you can just leave now." They refused to honor my BOGO email coupon, because I didn't have a "printed coupon," (of which I never got one "in the mail"), and because it was "too late, and we close at 9." I was there at 8:35 pm, and my attempt to order online wouldn't work. It said, "This store doesn't accept online orders after 8:30 pm." I advised Steven and Sandra that every other time I had been there when there was (always) a problem with online ordering, they always simply honored the email coupon. This time, they just argued with me, and refused to call the store manager to get approval. I told them that otherwise, I would give them a 1 star review, and never return. They didn't care, and essentially asked me to leave. They don't care about customer service or satisfaction, even from loyal customers. There are so many other Subways to choose from, why give an apathetic, poorly managed store, YOUR hard-earned money? Just go down the street to the next Subway, that actually gives a darn about appropriate customer service and loyalty.
This business model is not the kind that usually makes for a popular place to want to spend your money. Not...
