I live in Greeley Co. And grew up eating Taco John's. 3 days ago I told my husband we had to go try the tostadas, so we did. I had no idea they had the crumbly white cheese on them and I don't like it. I went to the counter to see if they could make me 2 new ones and the "manager" says "yes we can if you pay for them, you should have ordered without it if you didn't want it!" I told him I had no idea it was on there and I said forget it. My husband went on and bought me 2 more without that stuff on it even after I told him not to. The snarkly "manager " comes with the tray holding it in my face as if I had ordered something. He should have given it to my husband because I was already through with this place. I took the tray and slid it away from me. The so called "manager" was still standing there like he was with us. My husband said "eat them babe" I said to my husband "I told you i don't want them." Well "Manager" Karen goes on to say " if your gonna be having an attitude, you don't need to come in my restaurant any more, he can (hubby)but you cant. I went on to say "I'm not talking to you, I didn't say anything to you." He goes on to say "you have been having an attitude" just because I simply told the lady at the counter that I didn't like that crumbly white cheese. Since when is saying what I don't like, having an attitude? Plus is this not still American and not a communist country, the Big Bad Wolf was gonna make me eat those 2 new ones, or what? My son was a great General Manager for 8 years over a restaurant that served way better food and my son says he would have just made 2 new ones no charge. But this guy had a funky attitude right out the gate. I am currently waiting for a call back from the main corporate office. Worse service ever and nerve to be in my husband's and my conversation!!! You got nerve...
Read moreThis review is for customer service not the restaurant itself or the quality of the food any other time I go to Taco John’s everything is great and I do visit frequently. I ordered the new nachos they asked if I wanted a side of cheese guac or salsa I said yes cheese a little confused also a kids meal with a crunchy beef taco and mtn dew. Then I had a coupon code for a free dessert and a regular ole. I waited 25 minutes in line got to the window asked if the nachos came with cheese on them the girl was confused so called over some rude man named Angel he looked at me I asked the same question he said oh my god do you even know what you ordered I said yes I wanted the nachos I even explained the one on the window because I didn’t see the Feliz Navidad nachos on the menu he said it is on there but okay you ordered chips and cheese I said no I said I wanted the nachos he said ughhh and rolled his eyes sighing every chance he got his tone was ridiculous I asked for his name and told him he was extremely rude then he said you can go somewhere else to get your food and we can cancel this order or you can pull up and wait I have a line we will get to you when we can by then I was livid I said yeah cancel it and sped off. I’m so upset at this I’ve never went to this location and experienced such and ugly attitude from ANYONE especially a grown man. I love Taco John’s and I visit quite regularly this man seemed like he didn’t like his job very much and was not customer friendly rolling his eyes and sighing and making unnecessary remarks as a customer I am...
Read moreWent to the Greeley location, and there was absolutely nobody there. The inside was dead and there was only one car in front of me in the drive thru, that finally just drove to the window to see what was going on. As he approached the window somebody finally came over the intercom, but told me hang on one sec, as he took the order of the car that went ahead of me. Hearing the order, and entire conversation the guy never came back over the intercom. After waiting patiently for 30mins, I finally did what the other guy did, and just drove to the window. When I got to the window, the "only guy" supposedly working, because the manager left him alone, stated he was overwhelmed and couldn't handle doing everything; and remember the restaurant was dead, as in NO CUSTOMERS. He looked strung out, he wasn't even in a Taco John's uniform, no gloves if he was handling food, and he kept taking his hat off and rubbing his head, and fingers through his hair. It's just SO SAD to see how bad that side of Greeley has gotten; especially being that I lived across from Taco Johns for over 20yrs and never had bad service. I WILL NEVER GO BACK AFTER THAT EXPERIENCE. Especially being that I tried calling the next day to speak to a manager, using the phone number provided by Google, and it kept going to voice-mail every...
