My cousins came here to buy the cake for my niece's First Birthday party. First of all the cake was overpriced than other bakeries. When we went to pick it up they took like 20 min to take the cake out. The design of the cake was way off and had not even finished it. They were missing a letter on the cake of her name and didn't even let us know. When we brought that up she said that it was missing a letter because there was not enough room on the cake. They got the color and design of the cake wrong from what they originally wanted. They tried to fix it but just made it a mess on the cake. And when we asked if they could do something about it like get part of the money back or some type of store credit. She said no. And when we would let her know about what was missing or wrong with the cake she would look annoyed by that. So heads up. Ordered a cake in person almost a week in advance. Order slip was confirmed. It was customized for my nephews 16th birthday. We discussed kind of cake and certain fruit. Went for pickup and no cake was made. Owner was called and she told young gal helping to just have me pick one from the refrigerator. I’m guessing it was forgotten. What does a customer do at this point??? I received No apology. No discount. No nothing. I had a birthday party in an hour and no cake. I am really disappointed but didn’t want to get upset with the nice young girl helping me. It’s not her fault. This is our family’s go-to panadería in Green Bay. We bought two Rosca de Reyes on different occasions because the first one didn’t have the three baby Jesus. We then called them and they told us to come back and get a new rosca and they guaranteed us that this Rosca would have the three babies. Well it didn’t. We are very disappointment because it seems that this establishment doesn’t care about the tradition. It’s our family’s favorite day of the year and we are very sad because we won’t have any tamales. It seems to me that La Rosa will catering on Feb. 2. They making us tamales baby!
