The restaurant is very big and open, which I love! The hostess was very nice and welcoming. However, the food that we ordered would never arrive to our table until our server noticed that but by those points, we had been waiting for a long time with no communication. That was a pattern almost every time we ordered. On top of that, parts of our order were missing. We would communicate this to our server but they seemed just as confused and then never followed up on that. My significant other ordered a diet soda too and upon giving it to him, and they had two other drinks that looked similar to the diet one, they stated that didn’t know which one was diet and let us figure it out. My significant other is diabetic, so it would have been nice to have had a firm say on which soda was which. Had the restaurant been extremely busy, I would have been more understanding, but it was very relaxed at the time in which we dined, which left us all very confused on why things were going wrong. Initially, we were all excited to finally have a Korean bbq restaurant in town and not have to drive to Appleton every time. But we all left somewhat disappointed in the end. As with all new restaurants, totally understand that things won’t be 100% perfect. I never expect that, just expected more effort on our server’s side of things as far as communication goes. I will say, the owner (at least I think it was him), did check up on our table and grabbed us refills and made sure we were doing okay, to which at that moment in time we were just at the tail end of things. We were initially satisfied with our visit—until we saw the charge we paid. With three infants in our group, we didn’t look closely at the bill before paying, but later noticed something didn’t add up. After calling the restaurant, we were told that a few of the items we ordered were considered “dinner” items, even though we had come during lunch hours.

They had asked when we walked in if it was our first time (it was), yet no one mentioned that some menu items were exclusive to the higher dinner pricing. Apparently, these items are marked with a small symbol—but no one explained that, and it definitely wasn’t clear to us. That lack of transparency ended up costing us an extra $33 (before tip) we weren’t expecting.

While the food itself was good, we’re left with a sour taste from the experience. It feels like we were tricked into paying the dinner price without proper disclosure. When we called to ask about it, we got nothing more than a casual “oh, sorry about that.” No effort to make it right.

It’s disappointing and frustrating, and it really tainted what could have been a positive experience. If you do choose to go, BEWARE of the “dinner” items—they’re subtly marked, and you won’t be told unless you ask… which you’ll probably wish you had once the bill arrives.

After posting my review, management reached out, acknowledged the mistake, and corrected our bill. They refunded us the appropriate overcharge and even provided a $20 off code for a future visit. I appreciate them making things right and taking the time...

We were in town for an event and discovered this place on TikTok, which piqued our interest due to its great reviews. Our expectations were high, especially since the front desk staff was friendly. We had a party of nine and opted for the KBBQ. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing.

Our waitress was unresponsive, rarely checking on us, and we frequently encountered missing items from our order. When we expressed our concerns, we were told, "It's still coming." After waiting about 45 minutes, we received only five small plates of meat for our group. I asked if more was on the way, and she assured us it was, but it never arrived. Thankfully, the appetizers were self-serve; otherwise, we would have gone hungry.

Overall, we waited over two hours for our meat, which never made it to our table. Our waitress seemed to avoid us like a plague, forcing us to ask other staff for water refills and assistance. When we finally decided to request our check, we realized our waitress still wasn’t around. We had to ask another server if we could check out at the front, as our waitress was nowhere to be found. It took us standing up to leave for her to approach us. By then, I just wanted to pay for the appetizers I had eaten.
