This is a warning to anyone counting on Dunkin' Donuts to get a pre placed order done correctly. My daughter wanted doughnuts for her birthday party instead of cake. We ordered 3 dozen donuts the night before the party. Upon arriving at this location 10.9.16 after the designated pick up time of 12:45. At just after 1pm, I was told they didn't have our order. That I must have placed the order at another store. After confirming the phone number I proceeded to wait for over 40 minutes to gather 1 dozen donuts from our order that apparently someone prior to us arriving had placed an identical order to ours and had taken one dozen pink strawberry donuts (which we never got). After compromising for glazed donuts with pink frosting and waiting patiently for 40 minutes I could tell the teller felt bad. As she rang me up, I was surprised to see that I was charged full price. Her response was, we don't have any authority to give you a discount. I can give you my managers number and you can call her if you like. (In a situation like this give your employees the opportunity to do the right thing). By this time I'm nearly running late to the party and wasn't about to waste more time in the store. This left me feeling like this was my problem, not theirs. This is my first ever review and I hate that it's negative. Read moreI don’t understand why they even have an app when I have to repeat my order, specifically the donut orders, each time I go through the drive thru and when I walk inside. What is the point of an app when I have to repeat the order? I use the app to save time and move the line along, as the line can get backed up onto Massillon Rd. When I asked the manager as to why I have to repeat the dozen donut order each time I visit, she stated that the registers don’t communicate with one another; that they have to physically walk over and get the order from the front register, the one closet to the lobby. Instead of fixing the issue, or getting a better system of servicing the mobile customers, they instead ask the customer to repeat the mobile order. It’s seems redundant and inefficient, and honestly, it’s just annoying. I asked the manager why they can’t fix the issue and she stated, “We are trying.” Also, after I had to repeat my order after placing it in the app, the food was cold. Read moreOrdered a large coffee at drive through the cup that was given to me had severe indentations around the rim of the cup from being in a holder stack as such the cup should have been discarded and not used but once the lid was placed on cup and given to me at the drive window as I took a drink the hot coffee severely leaked out on to my lap and car interior staining my clothes and interior car seat when I spoke to the manager little interest in what took place was given his response was so what do you want me to do about it. Not were sorry sir are you ok the coffee didn't burn you what can I do to help you. No interest in any of the above mentioned statements he did not even ask my name till I mentioned it to him. Then with little regard to my well being took my phone number and said will call you but not today. I wonder how dunkin corporate management will want to address this?
