This place needs to be called Touch of Water. They do not know how to make "tea". My fruit tea drink was completely diluted with water, no ice, and no sugar. This is the worst boba tea shop I have ever been to. They are also very inexperienced and do not have it together yet. There were 3 girls working and they all had to consult one another and help each other do their jobs. This delayed our order and the order before ours.
I came in on a Friday night and ordered 3 drinks. They offer 3 different sizes - at least that's what their display shows. However, when it came to ordering, they limited a drink we ordered and said we couldn't get the smallest size. The one I got for myself was the Peach Fruit Tea with boba. The girl taking my order asked me if I wanted 50% sugar. I told her I want it regular. When I got my drink, it was 50% sugar. She proceeded to tell me that this is the regular and how it's made. Very interesting because every boba tea shop I have been to 50% sugar is a modification. They tried to add more sweetness for me but it didn't change a thing. The entire drink tasted like water. No taste of tea at all. Maybe a drop or two or peach flavoring.
The next drink we ordered was the coffee milk tea. They said this comes with foam. We said we didn't want any foam. When they gave us the drink, cheese foam was added. We had to wait for another one to be made because the person making the drink said she didn't see it on the ticket. After we got the corrected drink, the person who ordered the drink said it was good.
The last drink we got, would be the Mango Go. This took forever to order because the girl didn't know the menu yet. They also had the drink completed but didn't give us a heads up. It was sitting on the counter.
They also have very expensive pastries - $7 a croissant. I asked if they made it in house and they said no. It looks like they are getting it from somewhere else and increasing the price tag. If that's the case, I wouldn't even know if it's fresh or not. I will not...
Read moreWhen I first walked into Touch of Tea, I knew it was a special place. It's new and has a really cool and welcoming vibe. They have lots of different boba flavors, and I tried the mango one – it was so yummy! I also had a piece of cake that looked too good to miss, and it was delicious.
One of the best things about Touch of Tea is that they use organic stuff to make their drinks, and they still taste amazing. I got my boba with no sugar, and it was still really good, which is pretty rare for boba places.
Plus, they were super nice to my puppy! He had a lot of fun hanging out there. So, if you like great boba and tasty pastries, and maybe have a pet you want to bring along, Touch of Tea is a perfect place...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I got a plain oolong and taro. I’ve never had such bad tea.
The boba itself was great, extremely sweet but fine, but my oolong doesn’t even taste like tea? All I can taste is almond milk, I’m not even sure there is tea in here, I poured some out and I think it’s just almond milk, it’s super pale.
The taro also tastes absolutely awful, it tastes like an extremely thick protein shake, not sure if they gave us the wrong drink entirely. The taro is just extremely chalky, thick, and awfully sweet.
Just really bad and this was our first time trying this place. We can’t even drink these they’re...
