My wife and I was out riding the bike about a week ago and stop by Chicago pizza in greenfield. We have ate there before and enjoyed. But this time the service and food was very disappointing. After sitting down order our drinks and our food. The girl took our order and looks like she didn’t understand a half and half pizza order. That was ok sometimes it’s hard to understand when wearing a mask. As other people were seated we waited for our food and watch others that was seated after us and order after us received there order before ours 30 mins later our pizza was delivered to our table. The pizza looked like it was thrown together at the last minute because. Pizza was cold and order xtra cheese and it looks like it was just sprinkle on. While other customers had pizza with plenty of cheese and a lot better looking food. Told our server and all we got Was sorry. As we were paying the check I was ask how was things. I told him the truth. All he said was they had a new person cooking and told me what my bill was. We like our pizza in the past but this was like a store bought. It will be awhile...
Read moreI have been to this location several times. Chicago’s is my favorite pizza restaurant but I will not be back to the Greenfield location. Multiple visits my order has been wrong. This evening’s visit just pushed me over the edge. Upon picking up my carry out order one of my 2 pizza’s were burnt like visibly had black burnt marks. I asked for it to be remade which seemed confusing for them but they did it. In the process of waiting I realized my bread sticks were also burnt and I ordered them 3/4 done. The manager proceeded to say oh yea they were 3/4 baked right. I said yes and she remade them. At this point all would have been fine mistakes happen no big deal. However while waiting on my replacements the manager proceeds to bust a table then comes back and boxes up my food without washing her hands. That was my last straw. Pandemic or no pandemic that is gross. When I asked for a refund she just did it and handed me the receipt and walked away. Super sad to not feel like I can go back to my local Chicago’s but I cannot go somewhere I feel is...
Read moreAs a local police officer, I’ve always tried to support local businesses, but my recent experience with Chicago’s Pizza was disappointing. We placed an order and were missing three breadstick orders. When we called to address the issue, they admitted the mistake but refused to issue a refund, claiming they “couldn’t” and would only offer a credit.
While mistakes happen, refusing to refund money for missing items isn’t good customer service. A credit doesn’t help when you’re ordering for a group and need the food at that moment. It’s frustrating to pay for something and not receive it, only to be told there’s no way to get your money back.
We’ve enjoyed their food in the past, but this experience left a bad impression. Hoping they improve how they handle customer concerns...
