I have loved the variety of items in each and every PSP I have visited (several different states) since 2000. The staff doesn't have to be ecstatic when accepting a return but I still deserve friendly customer service. It wasn't my fault that your product is less than acceptable. The item was not defective (as you stated) - all of these LED dog leashes light up very poorly. I tried out the others on display (besides my return) and they all lit up the same way - the LED strip was bright near the handle and then decreases in intensity going down the leash until it is super dim at the end which clips onto the collar. I wanted to know if it was just my leash or the product in general. So if it makes you feel better, then yes - all of the LED dog leashes are defective from my testing the other ones on display. My other return - a dog collar - returned without an issue. You scan my new collar and leash which I am purchasing just fine. Then you scan my large bag of Wellness dog food which had apparently been placed next to a wrong clearance price tag. The bag rang up at over $66 when the shelf tag said $29. So when we walked back to the shelf, I apologized but stated that's where the bag was located. When I wanted to find its correct spot on the shelf, you told me to just leave the bag where we were with a sour expression and comment. So I just threw the bag down on the floor. Throughout the transaction, you could barely make eye contact with me or spare me a friendly word. You get more flies with honey than vinegar. And yes, I work retail/cashier in a small farm and pet-oriented store. I have also worked in customer service for over 40 years. Despite whatever I have going on in my life at that moment which my customer has no idea about, I still smile, make eye contact, thank them, and wish them a good day. You could barely even lift your head up to look at me, let alone say thank you. Your prices are expensive enough, even with your excellent variety of products. But I can find a closer (I live an hour away from you) and friendlier PSP. Thanks for making that...

Read moreWell this dog food had a bit of a sale on it but not much. I had been emailed two coupons from pet supplies plus but couldn't use them. It was my fault I didn't read the fine print. I couldn't find my brand of dog food and tried to ask two associates for help. One walked right past me and the other was playing with the phone cord. One associate did see me trying to ask for help and come over immediately to offer assistance. She took me right where I needed to be. They have an entire wall of natural dog food. The brand I needed was in a separate room in the very back of the store. They have a large selection of all natural/grain free food and treats. Coming from Alabama, I'm finding the prices here in Wisconsin are a lot higher in the pet supplies plus stores. Unsure if it's pet supplies plus or if all pet stores are more expensive than I'm used to. I brought my dogs today and the associates were friendly and gave them some treats at checkout. They are doing a pet drive for cats and asking you to purchase a can of cat food at checkout. It's less than a dollar. Hopefully the...
