I’m guilty as many of us are when it comes to eating unhealthy. CoreLife Eatery is quickly becoming one of my favorite spots to eat and that’s mainly to their philosophy of YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT. This is definitely one of the freshest places to eat in Greensboro aside from going to buy the fresh produce and proteins yourself!
From the outside to the inside I know every time when I step into this location it’s clean and my food is hot, fresh and made-to-order right in front of me. The experience of pre-made items and processed foods are a whim of the past because you are going to see exactly what happens from the moment you order your food to the point of either taking it to go or dining in.
Masks are required inside unless eating or drinking. Social distancing guidelines are in effect and some tables are closed off. Markings are on the floor to help with social distancing while in line to order.
Each table has a magnet to indicate if it’s clean or dirty. So if you decide to dine in, once you sit down go ahead and flip it to dirty so that they can sanitize it quickly for the next guest.
Today I had their Spicy Pulled Chicken Taco Bowl with Cilantro and Fried Egg & Red Salsa, Cup of Roasted Tomato Basil Soup and Cranberry Cayenne Lemonade. Everything went so perfectly together and was seasoned to perfection. The chicken was so tender. You’ll take notice because CoreLife is GMO-Free, No High Fructose Corn Syrup, No Artificial Colors or Flavors. That in itself you can take to the bank!
Last time I came I had the Chicken Tortilla & Chipotle Chicken which is fresh Spinach, purple rice blend, black beans, corn, roasted pepper blend, salt & pepper chicken, chipotle chicken broth, Cotija cheese, tortilla chips, cilantro. Now I know I used to be really picky so guess what you can add or remove anything you’d like so no worries on customizing here.
Tasty drinks that are made fresh and cold. This place really has something that can please just about anyone within reason. I’ve been several times and it’s the real deal!
Download their app to your smartphone and their giving $5 off your order. You’ll have to add a payment method in order to qualify for the discount. Just a heads up. It uses the LevelUp platform as many other places do so it’s safe.

Read moreCoreLife Eatery has a mission to bring clean, healthy, and great tasting foods to everyone who walks through their doors, and after having dined with them, I am an absolute believer in their mission. Their foods are completely free of GMO’s, trans fats, artificial colors, sweeteners, and other artificial additives. Their menu consists of pre-established combinations so you don't have to do any thinking, but they also provide a DIY option for the adventurers out there too. Their concept is similar to CAVA, where they display all of their ingredients at the forefront, and you have to decision which ingredients who want included in your entree.
I got here around 2pm on Friday and did not have to wait in any lines. I was seen right away by an employee and was asked if I had been here before and if I needed any help with ordering. I had him explain that different bowls that they serve, and he recommended the BBQ Ranch Chicken.
So I ended up getting the BBQ Ranch Chicken, and I was honestly shocked at how tasty it was. I was expecting a dull flavor profile similar to CAVA but was very surprised at all of the layers of flavor embedded in every bite I took. You can truly taste the freshness and quality of all their ingredients. The bbq and ranch blended well together and mixed well with the other grains and greens in the bowl. I highly recommend this bowl to anyone who wants to check out CoreLife.
Now let's talk about their phenomenal juices. They have a ton of creative and unique options, and every juice is vastly different to each other. I got their Vanilla and Fig Juice, which was fantastic. The warmness of the vanilla did a great job meshing well with the sweetness of the fig. It was the perfect addition to my bowl.
Quick, healthy, and absolutely delicious. What more can you ask for? Make sure to stop by if you...

UPDATE: The owner reached out to resolve the issue and gave a full refund. I found the whole experience very strange but I am thankful they did resolve/refund without us having to go into the physical location. I want to make it clear that the food is very good and I have usually had great experiences IN PERSON, but I still think ordering delivery can be very hit or miss. It was a very stressful day and the delivery experience that night was just the straw to make me snap. I understand that staff and management have bad days too and I want to acknowledge that.
Original Review: Please be careful if you order online from this location. We ordered 2 Korean bbq pork bowls at 7pm. They were delivered at 7:50pm. Neither of our bowls had pork in them. When we called to ask for a refund, we were at first told we have to bring the bowls back in order to get a refund. It was 7:55 and the store closes at 8. We asked to speak to a manager, then we were told to bring the receipt in tomorrow for a refund.
This run around is absolutely crazy, it makes no sense. We will I guess bring our receipt in tomorrow, get a refund, then never eat corelife again.
I have a severe allergy so this is one of the only restaurants I trusted, but this just feels ridiculous and unnecessary and it’s not worth the hassle to return/order from them again.
I’m sure it’s no skin off their backs if it ruined our night, that’s fine. Just imagine you’ve had a long, hard and trying day and you just want to enjoy some good food but your meal arrives missing the KEY component of the dish. Then you ask for a refund and they tell you to use your gas and time to bring them back the food or receipt when they already have your order number and don’t need it. I just...
