Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Greensboro

Love Dominos in general. Always have.

PROS: -Their Philly Cheesesteak (PCS) pizza is my hands down favorite❣️ -Second is the Extravaganza pizza. It’s also cheaper to buy this, with nearly everything on it, and just pick off what you don’t like(if anything) vs custom ordering individual selections, with 4-8 items on the pizza! -The 3 moltan Lava Chocolate Cakes are DELICIOUS❣️I could eat a half dozen of them, but would prolly go into a choc-o-holic coma, trying to do so! LOL

CONS:

-The relatively new “loaded tots” (tried the PCS) was a hard pass, when I tried it a few months ago. It didn’t remotely taste like the same flavor vs in pizza format. There are VERY few foods that I’ve ever ordered anywhere, but literally thrown away half of the order, because I just couldn’t get through it. This was certainly one of those products. -Over the last few years, as a corporation, Domino’s has been making the exterior/side crusts larger and larger. That means less sauce, cheese, and toppings, because they don’t extend to the edge of the pizza 🍕 pie. Obviously, this is a cost savings measure, to have 1.5-2.0” crusts, but unless you’re a fan of just plain ‘ol crusts (which I am definitely NOT), then it feels like, and IS a way of receiving less actual product. The ONLY way that I would be OK with this, is IF you would be offered one FREE dipping and/or garlic sauce, like their competitors (Papa John’s) do! -Similarly, the actual size of the 3 lava chocolate cakes 🥮 is very tiny vs the size that they originally were, when introduced. 😳 -Additionally, the 3-lava cake prices vary widely (by almost 50%), depending upon what coupon “specials” are going on. I certainly wouldn’t order them when they’re priced at $5.99-$6.99*. Nope, put ‘em back down to $2.99-3.99 range + larger sizing, as in the past. Otherwise, I’d guess that there’s a fairly high profit margin on this product. 🤓 Also, sometimes they come with a really nice coating of powdered sugar on top, other times, barely none. While I’d love to add another cup of the chocolate icing, I don’t need the extra calories ( nor $, just based on principle of “nickel and diming”, for every little thing) ‼️ And it’s certainly not necessary, because the lava cake “chocolate-iness” 😜is plentiful,...

Ordered a medium pizza and chicken bites with an extra mango habanero sauce. Old Gregory got here with our pie and chicken bites. Hooked him up with a little cheddar for a trip(25%) Realized a few minutes later they left my extra sauce out. I called up the store and “King” said what’s the address, I told him. Dude said they would be right back with it. We live like 3 minutes from dominos. An hour goes by, old Gregory never shows up. My girl called back up there and this dude king tried to tell me Gregory came back and knocked on my door numerous times and we didn’t answer so he left it on the door step. Both of which are lies. Our couch is right beside the front door as well as having a very vocal dog if there would have been a knock, either we would have heard it or our dog would have went ballastic like she did when the man brought the pizza the first time. I don’t care about the sauce but why ya gotta lie to us? That’s where we have an issue. I own a business and I would never operate in this manner. Customers sign your paychecks. The server that came to my car did not come out within the 2min time slot. They stopped my clock with in 30secs, but I still hadn't received my food. When asked about it, the server said I was wrong and that I could take it up with the manager. I proceeded to call the store after telling the server thank you. The manager immediately said the server was out the door when I checked in. When I explained that I had not received my order and the time was not adding up, along with the fact that I had sceenshooted the time- the manager became rude. She stated that I had to file online anyway. When I asked for her name, she hung up the phone on me.--- Note that I did not seek to start a situation. But I wanted them to improve on their arrival when they advertise something different. I really did not expect the conversations to go as they did, and I am sadden by the reactions that I received when I wanted to brag about their service instead.
