Title: A Memorable Culinary Experience at Green Valley Grill I recently had the pleasure of dining at Green Valley Grill, and I must say that it was a truly remarkable experience. From the warm and inviting ambiance to the impeccable service, everything about this restaurant exudes excellence. I had the opportunity to try their lamb chops and short rib dishes, and they were nothing short of extraordinary. The lamb chops were cooked to perfection, with a beautiful sear on the outside and a tender, juicy interior. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and the seasoning was just right, allowing the natural taste of the meat to shine through. The dish was accompanied by a delectable mint and herb sauce that added a refreshing and vibrant touch. The short rib dish was a true masterpiece. The meat was incredibly tender, falling off the bone with the slightest touch. The flavors were rich and robust, with a perfect balance of sweetness and savory notes. The dish was served with a velvety smooth mashed potato and a medley of seasonal vegetables that complemented the meat beautifully. What impressed me the most about both dishes was the attention to detail and the use of high-quality ingredients. It was evident that the chef had put a lot of thought and care into creating these culinary delights. The presentation was impeccable, and each dish was a work of art on its own. The overall dining experience at Green Valley Grill was exceptional. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring that every need was met. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect setting for a memorable meal. I highly recommend Green Valley Grill to anyone seeking a truly remarkable dining experience. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner for two or a place to celebrate a special occasion, this restaurant exceeds expectations in every way. The lamb chops and short rib dishes were exceptional, showcasing the culinary talent and dedication to excellence that Green Valley Grill is known for.

Our visit was subpar unfortunately. The food was wonderful as always, but our server made our visit less than desirable. First, she was a bit snobbish. We felt as though she thought us beneath her and unworthy of being there. Second, she paid us little attention while we were dining. We had to go out of our way to get her attention, even to order. Our water was gone and our wine bottle emptied and yet no sign of her. Even the bread baskets were not offered until we were 20 minutes into our visit. Third, it turns out the wine list on the back of the menu was only a fraction of their entire offering. She only mentioned to us that going online would do provide the full list when we were about to pay. I looked online and found other better bottles of wine we would have rather had. Fourth, when we finally tracked her down to order our dessert, about ten minutes after we had gotten our dessert menus, which was about 15 minutes after we decided we would like to get dessert, she said it was exactly 9pm and we could not order dessert wines once it was 9pm. I looked at my watch, and it was about 15 seconds after 9. So much for her giving a damn about us and actually checking in. The six of us were, overall, disappointed. Had she cared, we would have ordered at least another bottle of $100+ wine and several dessert beverages. Our loss in enjoyment, the restaurant's loss in revenue and her loss in ticket price and tip.

I had the daily special - a tuna steak on some rice. Vegetables too. My wife had the salmon on top of polenta with dill "buerre" which is basically delicious butter. The salmon was spectacular. Light, flaky, not dry at all. The tuna was great too. I'm not a huge fan of polenta but it was fine. Crab dip appetizer was awesome. And they have really good bread which I recommend using to mop up any remaining dip. Trappistes Rochefort 10 to drink. Perfect! The place itself is really nice. We ate outside. It's a beautiful setup, nice plants all around and some good thick tree type deals so you feel like you're in a garden and not right next to a parking lot. The price is actually little less than I'd expect for a place this nice. I think the similar Print Works place (also delicious) is a little more expensive. One interesting thing... I booked a reservation last-minute using OpenTable, which said there were no spots for 45 minutes. We went over early thinking maybe we could sit at the bar for a bit but the place was definitely not full and they got us a table right away. So (obviously ymmv but) if OpenTable says they're full maybe give them a call or just head over there.

One of my favorite go to spots in Greensboro for brunch, lunch and dinner. The menu changes with the seasons and is well thought out. You will find most of the same items from the dinner menu at less of a cost for lunch. Nestled in one of the countries greenest landscaped hotels this restaurant offers high-quality ingredients and consistent food. The service is always on par and the staff is professional and friendly. Even the bread is excellent, and the truffle fries are a must try. If the watermelon and feta salad happens to be in season when you go, it won’t disappoint and is the best I’ve had by a long shot. The Parmesan crusted chicken is what I’ve eaten the most. The Mediterranean tapas is a great option to share as an appetizer or make a main course. If you like fish, try the pecan crusted trout. If you appreciate a good bar and drinking is your thing, they have a long and classy bar with a large variety of spirits. The bar area also has nice seating. Some of which are cozy circular tables with leather bench style seats that wrap around them with good support. The music is always upscale as well.

Green Valley Grill in Greensboro is nothing short of spectacular. Honestly, this place is neck and neck with second Empire in Raleigh, and that's saying something! The moment you step inside, the decor will have you feeling like you’ve walked into a scene from a classic old film—timeless, elegant, and just the right amount of fancy without being over the top. It's connected to the O. Henry Hotel, so if you’re up for some tea, you can stroll right over and indulge in a perfect afternoon. But let’s talk about the food. I had the best rotisserie of my life here. Yes, you read that right—of. My. Life. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, it’s the kind of dish you daydream about long after the meal is over. Every bite was a delight. From start to finish, the whole experience is top-notch. And the service? Impeccable. You’ll feel like royalty without all the bowing. If you haven’t made your way to Green Valley Grill yet, do yourself a favor and go. It's a must for anyone who appreciates great food, stunning decor, and an overall amazing dining experience.
