My family and I have frequented this location for the past 2yrs, I have gone through 3 carousel club cards (you do the math on how much we spend in there) great place to WOW your child with all the toys that they can play with, but as a parent, I would like to see more toy options. There are some very friendly and knowledgeable employees and I have never had a complaint until now. My family and I visited a couple of days ago (TUESDAY) and as my toddler was playing with the toys, her father and I were also looking around for something to purchase. We were offered help/assistance over 5x by the same 3 different employees every 5min, followed around the store to each section, seeing employees standing off to the side but close enough watching us like Michael Myers and once we were checking out, I paid with a $100 bill, the cashier held the bill up to the ceiling lights to make sure it was real, understandably so, he was just doing his job, but what was weird was the older woman standing on his right shoulder that asked him to pass the bill to her so that she could hold it up herself and check it as well. If you need multiple people to confirm a bill is real, it may be time to retrain, order counterfeit pens or a UV light. This store may be the only 'toy' store in the area, but it isn't worth 'some' families feeling discomfort. If this location has had theft/counterfeit issues before, profiling isn't the way to handle it. This past Tuesday was my last time giving them my...
Read moreI’ve frequented this store often & I had easy shopping experiences. (Mom of 3) Over the last 2 shopping experiences I’ve noticed more than once, my daughter was interested in a doll that only came in “non-brown” colors. Went to look for Princess Tiana & not a single Princess Tiana doll with the Disney princesses, but only a frog. She loves Elsa and Anna also, but super easy to find.
Now, this only matters when a non-white person goes to look for a pretty doll that resembles themselves. I asked the sweet cashier for one of the baby dolls in brown, and she informed me the doll my toddler loved didn’t come in any other shade than the shade I was holding. 🧐
I’ll take a break from shopping here for while, and return in a certain amount of time to see if they’ve improved. Representation matters! Respectfully & with...
Read moreMy family and I have enjoyed shopping here in the past, however today we came in for a visit and we were followed around by an elderly worker at this location. We were just looking and having fun with all the toys that we thought were ok to touch and play with, however this elderly worker felt it necessary to make us feel like we were an inconvenience to her. She even went as far to approach my 9 year old son to ask him where he had gotten a toy he had picked up to look at and accidentally placed it in the wrong location. She made him think he had done something wrong. We thought in this store we were allowed to touch and explore the toys, if this isn't how the experience is supposed to be maybe you should put please do not touch on everything so we will know better. We will not be returning to this...
