Great hole in the wall! The food was excellent. We had shrimp fried rice, bi bam bap, and the spicy pork bulgogi was the best that I have ever eaten. Our young son loved the fish cakes, kimchi, and other side dishes. The servers were very gracious and very attentive. I will be back!!

Update!!..... We have been back numerous times and it is still fantastic! The spicy pork bulgogi makes my mouth water. The spicy squid was awesome. Just be sure to call ahead as they are not always open. We drove over an hour twice to find them closed even though Google showed them open. We tried another Korean restaurant nearby and though it is good, it is not the same as Dasarang.

Another update....we have been back numerous times and we still love to eat there. The food continues to be wonderful!! Try the squid tempura.

And yet another update.... I no longer consider Dasarang to be a hole-in-the-wall. I now look at it as if it were my adopted Korean grandmothers place, because that is how I imagine her food would be. We drive over an hour to eat here. We really love this place. The food is very consistent and it always satisfies. I cannot wait until...

Horrible & rude service. The waiter did not address me & wasn't friendly at all once I arrived (the young niece of the owner). I mentioned that this was my first find there & she didn't suggest any food or assist me with choosing. She didn't even apologize once they served me raw chicken. Yes, raw chicken! She addressed the situation as if it "happens sometimes". To top that, she still made me pay for my chicken!!! Awful. Do not eat here!! It's overpriced & just not worth it. This is the best Korean I have had in the area. We ordered the dolsot bibimbap, kimchi jjigae and doenjang jjigae. The doenjang jjigae had seafood in it, which I wasn't expecting, it was really nice and my kids loved it. My kimchi jjigae was good, and the bibimbap was tasty as well. Our favorites were the banchan, they were delicious!! The quality of ingredients was high (good meat, generous serving of shrimp/mussels in the soup, nice kimchi, etc), the prices were reasonable, and the service was quick. We will...
