Food was amazing! Was there a bit of a wait? Yes. But, my chicken came out fresh, hot and delicious. I'd rather wait for fresh cooked chicken than get some chicken that's been sitting out. My chicken was very hot and crispy and juicy. It was amazing. I forgot to post when I went but I grabbed lunch. I got the dark meat chicken with I think spicy garlic sauce, fries, and I picked pickled radish as my side. Which was an amazing pick. The coolness of the radish was perfect with the spice level of the chicken. Not that the chicken was super spicy. I don't think I got a spicy sauce but I do recall it having some kick.
There was a guy getting takeout and got mad that his chicken was taking more than 8 minutes. Which I thought was silly. This isn't precooked or pre seasoned chicken that fast food gets and drops in a fryer for 5 minutes.
Also I'm pretty sure there was one lady cooking when I was there. I actually only saw 2 people. The younger guy taking orders and an older lady that came out from the back once.
So, I wouldn't go if you are in a hurry bc this isn't fast food. This is hot and delicious fresh food. Worth every penny in my opinion.
I do wish they offered free refills or at least one refill bc you get your canned soda or bottle water as soon as you order. So half an hour later when the food comes the drink is long gone. So try not to drink it all lol.
That's either spicy garlic or honey garlic sauce. I can't remember for sure but I do remember the chicken having a small kick...
Read moreHere are some cons: They don't put sauce on side They won't do half no sauce half with sauce (or different red sauce half & half) even though when you order WHOLE chicken they put half in one box and the other half in another box Do not expect any service if you're dining in No boneless chicken (why is it even on the menu?) You can't get korean red sauce if you're getting drumsticks only.. I'm not sure why because all they have to do is literally fry the drumsticks and toss it in pan with sauce and mix it Chicken doesn't have much meat on it if you get half/whole :( I'd recommend getting drumsticks but for the reason above related to sauce, I don't know how you would feel about it.
Pros: Tastes good even if you get it delivered or get take-out (I live about 25 minutes away from this place) Very crispy and tastes better if you dine in Only Korean fried chicken place in triad as far as I know, and the sauces are actually great.
PS. Sauce wise, Soy garlic is VERY salty. Honey garlic I would recommend if you don't like super salty sauce, but if you don't like sweet, just get soy garlic.. it's not super sweet though. I thought honey garlic was soy garlic at first because it tasted similar to...
Read moreI’ve been here a few times so I know the wait can be pretty long. And weirdly super clean but never see people eating inside. But it’s the only place around with Kimbap so I try to let it slide. But last night was the most ridiculous because I order to-go, and later changed my mind and I sat down to eat a little (kimpbap) bit before my long drive and I placed a new order with drinks to eat in there since it was pretty late and I figure I eat now than before it got cold. So the cashier tells me after I’m halfway done with my food and waiting on my second order “ if you order To-GO and then sit down you have to pay $2 per person” that is insane there wasn’t anyone dining in but me and my dad who wasn’t even eating. And I had just ordered more! At that point I was already stressed and tired because I was traveling a long distance so I didn’t make a fuss about it but really? So I just gave her the $2 for me since only I was eating. That was so disappointing no wonder I’ve never seen anyone eating inside. I don’t blame the cashier at all, even she looked uncomfortable telling me. But yeah this type of nonsense has deterred my interest...
