*Update: My first 2 experiences may have been on good days because my 3rd experience was horrible to the point where I requested a refund. The sanitation practices were terrible. I watched a young lady (who was not present during my previous encounters) put on fresh gloves, played on her dirty cell phone with the gloves and then reached her gloves into the bag of frozen fries in the freezer. While the fries cooked, she took one glove off, played on her cell phone again while leaning her face onto the other glove that was still on. When the fries were done, she put the previous dirty glove back on, retrieved the fries and dug her hand straight into the fries while holding them to be placed inside the bag. The young man cooking this day did not have his hair tied back and you could see his hair hanging directly over the food as he sang songs and played openly in the kitchen with a street jacket on (no apron or work attire). The young lady at the register took her personal phone and started video recording directly over my completed burgers. The germs! I hope things get better and better supervisor is provided because this day was hard to watch!
Romeo's Vegan Burgers have the best burgers hands down!! When we arrived at the Greensboro location, we had a little trouble finding a park at the front of the restaurant so we found a parking deck around the corner that was walking distance. We were welcomed with a warm smile and excitement from the front register host. He guided us through the menu and was patient as we decided on our vegan burger choices. My husband got the Where Art Though Double and I got the Romeo Mac double, both with the Impossible patty. Both were freshly cooked and filled with so much flavor!! The Romeo Mac was actually better than a real Big Mac in my opinion. The fries were hot, fresh and seasoned very well. The house sauce that they offer paired well with the burger and fries! The oreo shake was delicious and made with almond milk. They had other options like a kale wrap, tater tots as well as vegan chocolate chip cookies for those who wanted to try something outside of burgers and fries. We did not have to wait long at all for our order. Their strawberry lemonade was very tasty and not too sweet. I've been to many vegan restaurants and Romeo's has topped all of the vegan burgers in the area in my opinion.10/10! Definitely make time to visit this vegan gem! We'll...
Read moreThis was my husbands and I, number one go to since April. We order EVERYTHING, every time we come here we spend at least $80 per visit. Nothing changed when we came in last night. EVERY TIME, we have come, we always order a Oreo, strawberry shake. This was one of the items that kept us coming back. Only this time, the black female general manager made such a big deal about adding Oreos to my shake to the cashier. She then wanted us to snitch, and tell her who was making the shakes that way, so she could address it. This place, Not only has a high turn over rate. But they clearly dont care about their customers. We've been here A-LOT, and it's never the same cooks or cashiers and I'm starting to see why. instead of informing me that I couldn't have what I ordered. I was just given a strawberry shake. Which was not what I asked for. I asked for a refund which was processed. The GM proceeded to tell me all the excuses that a pregnant customer does not want to hear. I get "this isn't Burger King, and you can't have it your way" and Romeos doesn't do modifications etc etc. i get they want to keep things uniform. however, I'm not asking for anything that's not already on the menu. These people need to learn to make their CUSTOMERS HAPPY. It's clear that the employees aren't happy already. Considering the cashier kept rolling her eyes every time the GM spoke. The GM also stated how she got "cursed out for not adding grilled onions to a burger that didn't come with it". Although cursing someone out is extreme, I see the frustration because GRILLED ONIONS ARE ON THE MENU. It's not that hard to keep your customers happy. here the black woman comes, laying down the law and worried about all the wrong things. seems like a trend in this society. Anyway, They use the square system which I use for my business also. It takes 2 seconds to add items so customers can add grilled onions, oreos, whatever And PAY FOR IT! We'll be going to Mikes vegan grill from now on. Their customer service was TOP TIER and they have more options. No shakes, but I can add to and take things away from my order...
Read moreMy friend and I visited this establishment on June 23rd, 2025, expecting a great new food experience, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a disappointing one.
When we walked in, we immediately noticed the store was empty, except for a woman sitting in one of the dine-in chairs, engrossed in her phone. We approached the register and spent about six minutes discussing our order. During that time, no one came to assist us. Out of curiosity, I looked behind the counter to see if anyone was available—but there was no one in sight.
We soon realized that the woman still sitting on her phone next to us must have been a staff member. After calling out to her multiple times, she finally responded on the third attempt. When we asked if she worked there, she said yes and apologized, claiming she hadn't heard us come in—despite us standing and talking right next to her.
The lack of attentiveness and poor customer service left both of us extremely disappointed, and we decided to leave and...
