An eager first-time customer, I anticipated trying your cuisine, having heard positive reviews about your pizza. However, the service I received has unfortunately left a less-than-favorable impression.

Firstly, the delivery of my order surpassed the one-hour mark, which is significantly beyond a reasonable wait time, especially considering no prior indication was given that such a delay might occur. This not only disrupted my meal plans but also caused considerable inconvenience, as I had not eaten all day in anticipation of your food.

Furthermore, upon contacting your team to inquire about the delay, I was assured by one of your employees that my order would arrive within 10 minutes. This glimmer of reassurance quickly dimmed as time elapsed and the food was still nowhere to be seen. This not only reflects poorly on the reliability of your service but also on the trustworthiness of the commitments provided by your staff.

The quality of customer service is just as important as the quality of the food served, and sadly, in this instance, the service did not meet the basic standard expected from a food establishment. This was my 1st visit to Vino's. Ordered the beef gyro, fries, baklava, and a cheesecake. The cheesecake, and baklava were very good. NY style on the cheesecake. Fries were hot, and crisp, and tasted good. The gyro was a little different than I am used to, having grown up in Chicago. I had never had a beef gyro, but the meat was seasoned well, and had that classical gyro taste. However, there wasn't enough sauce on it, making it sort of dry. The tomatoes were fresh, as were the onions. My biggest complaint about the gyro was that I have never had one with lettuce, and that was a bit off putting.

The classic gyro I grew up with was lamb, sauce, onions, and tomatoes on a warm pita. So perhaps I am being a bit snobby.

I ordered through GrubHub, and arrived to pick up the food at the designated time, but things were not ready. They had gotten slammed, something I understand having spent time in the food industry. I do think having to wait an additional 25 minutes or so was a bit much. I did get a comped soda, but for that amount of time something more substantial should have been done.

All in all a good experience albeit one I hope to not repeat soon. They need more staff, or something to move things along better.
