IHOP — Restaurant in Greensboro

Our waitress was RUDE! The waitress made us feel very rushed to order. We were seated brought our drinks & she wanted our order then. The beverage bar was right behind us so we barely had time to look over a half of a page. She was kind of polite when we said we needed a mintue. She went took the single person across from us order then came right back. When we told her we still needed a few minutes she walked off with an attitude like we was a inconvenience to her day. Once we was ready to order which wasnt long. we tried to flag her down twice. She walked past us taking something to another table the 1st time acted like she didnt hear my husband say "excuse me". When she left that table she was going to she went around the other way so she didnt have to pass our table. So we watch her thinking she was going to get something for another table. Instead she went over started talking to another employee looked our direction seen my husband wave but acted like she didnt see us. We was the only people seated on that side so she did see us. Then after a couple mintues of laughing with the employee she came took our order. When my husband was placing his she offered a better deal just with a extra side for cheaper. She asked how he wanted his food etc. then a differnet waitress brought our children plates out, then mine.my husband waited a couple minutes & looking for our waitress she was no where to be found. We saw her twice walk back & forth across the room. We flagged another waitress down to ask where his plate was she went checked the computer came back & said Im not sure what happen. She was very polite said she would get it made & right out to us. By the time he got his plate our children were done eatting. This was a very upsetting experience. This is the 1st time we have been able to go out to eat since Feb. We went to eat this day to celebrate my husband getting a new job after a few months of being laid off. He worked over time just so we could afford to go out to dinner as a family since we hadnt been able to afford any type of outing since Feb. The waitress didnt come back to refill our drinks until after we asked another waitress that walked by to...

OMG! This is my first time writing a review. Usually most people don't even leave reviews unless it is above or below average. I thought my experience deserved a review. The dinner started off ok, nothing special for IHop. We ordered our food and waited...waited...and waited. We were not in a rush so it didn't bother me as much as those that were with me. When we finally got our food (almost a hour later!) it was burnt and sill managed to be COLD. When we were finished I had to wait and wait for the bill. We got the bill and we had to wait and wait for the lady. We waited the longest for the waitress to come over. I thought maybe she was busy. I gave her a third chance. I finally had to walk to the front and it took the lady at least 20 mins to split a ticket for 3 different people at a table. I couldn't wait any longer so I hunted down my waitress, I almost thought she went home. I found her and asked her to please check us out. She did after the lady finished adding and subtracting the 3 person order ticket. Then when I sign the ticket the waitress gets missing again! I wanted to leave a cash tip, yes I actually did want to. I found her and gave it to her and she didn't say thank you or have a nice day, just NOTHING! I ALWAYS tip good even dispite the service. I have waited tables for 3 years so I know a lot goes in to customer service at a restaurant. The kitchen slows down the waitresses and the place gets crowded from time to time. These didn't seem to be the only issues. It was ALL. The food sucked, the staff sucks, the place wasn't busy and still SUCKED! Usually IHOP is always the same food and service. The general manager needs to come in and retrain EVERYONE! I shouldn't be at a franchise restaurant for over 2 hours for pancakes...

Review for Lanada Rd. We just ate here tonight and had the worst service we have ever had at any restaurant. Our waitress was Ashley. We were a larger party (11 people). However, we were the only table in there the majority or the time until 1 person showed up after a while which was attended by a different waitress. Obviously, we expect it to take some time as we are a big group which is no big deal. We were there for 1hr 45min for reference. During this time we ordered hot chocolate for 2 kids, we noticed rather quickly it had oil in it and we mentioned it to the waitress she said it was probably left from the whip cream. Either way, we asked for just regular chocolate milk instead to avoid the oil. To which the chocolate milk didn’t come until we were done and leaving. Furthermore, as our food came out we had no silverware. I had to go up to the front and physically grab silverware for all of us and bring it back to the table so we could eat our food while it was still warm. As our food came out, they got everyone else’s but a child’s and one adults food. The waitress “misplaced” the child’s and said “I’m trying to figure out where it went”. (It was never brought out to us for her to misplace it with someone else). Unfortunately, they did not get their food until after everyone else was done eating. Additionally, we never got any drink refills for any of our 11 drinks. And One guest asked for strawberry syrup when he received his food and did not get to it even though she acknowledged him and said she would bring it. Food was good and thank gosh we were the only table and not in any rush, I can’t imagine how much worse it would have been if...
