Labels Designer Resale — Local services in Greenville

Would not recommend consigning with Labels on Augusta Road... here’s why: I took several pairs of really nice shoes in to consign in 2017. When I received notifications that they didn’t sell, i went to pick them up and the lady working could only find 1 shoe of one of the pairs I consigned. She said she would look for the other and let me know. Never got back to me so I went to store to speak to owner. She told me they couldn’t find the other shoe and that items sometimes just “walked out of the store”. She even implied that an employee may have been responsible for sometimes taking items. She offered no apology and was so casual about it. My mistake was that I did not fully read the consignor agreement and there is a statement that says that Labels is not responsible for lost or stolen items. So if your items go missing or are stolen from the store, you have no recourse. I will say I have purchased a few nice items from Labels before that I have been happy with, but will never consign there again. So what can you do with just the one shoe? Toss it in the trash......

This gem has been my favorite retail store for several years now! Not just for second-hand clothing, but for clothing in general! Unlike other consignment stores, I never have to weed through seas of clothing to find gently worn stylish pieces. Instead, the work has already been done for me, and all that is on display are carefully selected stylish piece and in mint condition. The clothes look brand new and often are new with tags. I find that the clothing is very reasonably priced. I LOVE the handbags and often find beautiful jewelry as well. Above all, the customer service has always been outstanding. When I shop there, I always receive individualized attention and have received help on multiple occasions to put complete outfits together that I never would have thought of. The ladies are very knowledgeable of finding outfits that flatter your figure and fit your personal style, making you feel empowered to look as good as you feel. Buyers beware! Some of what they sell is ILLEGAL! I walked in and saw some chanel jewelry in a case. It was beautiful! I asked the clerk if it was authentic, to which she confirmed that it was authentic and showed me the authentication process they use. I bought two pieces: earrings and a bracelet. I was told the pearls were fake but the pendant was real. The earrings appeared authentic with a marking on the back with the year and season of production. I couldnt verify the earrings with the markings on the back. The bracelet felt VERY cheap. I contacted the lady who sold the pieces to Labels and she made me aware that they are not real, but “chanel inspired.” VERY SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICE to sell counterfeit (which is illegal) and tell customers it’s real. I called Labels and left a message, but never got a call back. I wish I could get a refund, and that the business wouldnt lie to customers about...
