Captain D's — Restaurant in Greenville

If any one would like to eat at this establishment you might want to think other wise. Poor service, not very clean or sanitary. Pictures should show that. Don't know how people do not get sick eating there and don't understand how they can pass a health inspection. Out back by drive sewer comes up out of the drain and there is toliet paper everywhere. The walk-in refrigerator where prepped food is stored, has mold on the racks but didn't get a pic of that one. Gm has been seen opening a gallon of tea, taking a drink, and then putting a sealed cap back on to serve to customers. Cooks in the back never wear gloves. Gm will stick her fingers in the coleslaw and take a bite with no gloves on. Customers have complained about all the seating being wobbly and not safe to sit on when the majority of the customers are seniors. Gm buys alcoholic drinks for her employees on the clock at night. Friendly service, efficient. However side salad has been brown for two different visits. Lemon wedges had lots of hair in them. Both employees had long hair not tied up. It's convenient for a drive thru when you are on a lunch hour, twice I've decided to go inside and order. Never again. Both employees were sneezing, coughing and not a hand sanitizer in sight. Yet, they were both working as hard as they could. Cook setting the food up in the window actually sneezed on the stryofoam container. Door handles entering into the restaurant are nasty. While I waited for my to go order, witnessed an employee being chastised due to her jacket laying on a shelf at the drive thru window. Employee explained "it's cold there at the window". Jacket was thrown at the employee. This is unacceptable. Hoping corporate will recieve this review and become more involved in their stores. I won't support this...

Captain D's is one of my favorite places to eat. They closed our local restaurant and so while I was visiting family in another state that had a local Captain D's I stopped to get my favorite. I went through drive-thru with a big order of course, they were prompt, polite, I did not have to repeat myself, they did not try to upsell me. They could tell I knew what I wanted and they let me order. For it being a big order through drive-thru I was surprised at how quick I got my food.
