On the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, I had a very bad experience at this location. Around 3PM I went through the drive-thru and ordered a container of salad. When I got to the window, a young lady told me that they had run out of the particular salad that I had ordered and that they had to make some more. When I asked, I was told that it would take 10 or 15 minutes; to which I indicated that Iâd come back a little later. Before living I made note that they had posted their closing time (for that day) as 5PM. After completing my other errands, I returned to the drive-thru at 4:50PM ( per my cell phone). I tried to order but got no response. I then drove to the window where I was met with a lot of arm motions (from across the way) suggesting that I should keep driving as they were closed. This instruction was being provided by the same young lady that I had dealt with earlier. When I motioned for her to come to the window, she did so and proceeded to tell me that they were closed. I read their posted notice to her (stating the 5PM closing time) and let her know that it was not yet 5PM (either then or when I arrived at the drive-thru). Her response was that âit was according to the clock on THEIR wallâ. After which she simply closed the window and motioned for me to drive on. I did so and made up my mind that I would never patronize this location of Chicken Salad Chick again. Luckily thereâs another location closer to where I now live. Hopefully, theyâve trained their employees to be more considerate/courteous to...
Read moreOk, I guess this is the only way to management to take notice.
You need to address your equipment malfunction and employees laziness.
Your ice machine has repeatedly broken over the last six months. Your employees obviously don't care.
They know it is broken and instead of alerting the customer, they give them a cup only for the customer to find out there is no ice.
This last time was enough for me to write a review. A five star business gets a one star because of something that should be easy to fix.
My last visit I brought it again to the attention of a young male employee. I suggested he at least make a sign and put it on the machine, "No Ice". He said he would do that and went back to his job never addressing this ongoing issue.
Look, if your ice machine is broken and you have ice in the back, offer the customer a cup filled with ice. Don't make the customer stand at the machine, trying to get ice and find out your employees knew it was broken.
Last, why are you expecting customers to pay a tip for zero service? Has everyone forgotten we tip based on service, no punching in an order and that the total service provided?
If I go to a restaurant and the server busts their but serving me, they get a great tip.
Service is more than punching in an order in a computer.
This is your company trying to get the public to pay wages. You should be ashamed.
I love your food, but you make the rest of the experience...
Read moreMy experience today was unlike any I have ever had at this restaurant/take-out. Am a regular (eating there 3 or 4 times a week, typically going through the drive-thru). Instead of the "Classic Carol" gourmet chicken salads that I ordered, I was given the jalapeño selection and the cookies were placed on top of the pickles instead of in the typical sleeves. Called the manager and drove back (don't you just love Woodruff Rd traffic) to get them corrected. They replaced the two "jalapeño orders with the correct salad and I watched the manager "check" both boxes. Am guessing they threw out the broccoli sides and fruit sides from the original orders because they were never offered to me for my time and inconvenience. After having seen the manager check the orders, drove back home only to discover no crackers in the boxes. Obviously not a huge problem, but lesson learned. Next time will check my order before leaving the drive-thru or the restaurant! The food is delicious and the servers are very friendly. But today must not have been a good day...
