Customer service was horrible. My first and last time ever coming to dunkin' donuts especially the one on Laurens road. First, I'm trying to look at the menu to see exactly what I wanted, the young lady was looking like if you don't hurry up, so I just told her I wanted a bacon egg and cheese croissant with two ice Waters because someone was fixing my car next door, which came to $8 in some change. While she was ringing that up, I saw on the menu where they had a $6 meal with a bacon egg and cheese croissant, hash browns and a coffee. I told her, oh I'm sorry I didn't see on the menu where they had the $6 meal may I please have that plus the two waters. She told me my total was $7.97. I was a little bit confused because $6 plus tax should be no more than $6.54 maybe. So I asked the young lady why was my meal so high if it was only $6, then I asked her was I charged for the waters she said yes the waters were $0.25 each but clearly that math still isn't right. So I say well 6 + $0.25 + $0.25 should be about 650 plus tax right. She says with a louder voice your total is 7.97. I told her I can clearly see that, I was asking why my tab was so high. I can't remember her for sure her words but it was something along the line of, "I don't want to be here. I want to go home. Then, she put someone on speakerphone whom she was having a conversation with the whole entire time and they yell waters are $0.34 each. Again I said that doesn't add up, I was just trying to see where the extra charge was coming from. The cashier was looking very frustrated, so I told her it's fine I'll pay that. I decided to go ahead and pay only because my car was getting fixed next door and the guy who's fixing my car really needed some waterl, also I hadn't had anything to eat that entire day. She makes my coffee and places it on the counter where I was not at and didn't tell me it was ready. I wasn't sure if it was mine or not because people were in the Drive-Thru line. She went back to go sit down while the other lady fixed my food. I really can't understand why she was so frustrated for I was super polite. After I ate my sandwich and through the hash browns and coffee away because it was that horrible I went outside to go sit. Unfortunately an hour and a half later I got thirsty again so I had to return to dunkin' donuts because there was no other place to get water around. The same young lady was sitting at a table talking to another young lady in dunkin' donuts, clearly they were friends. She saw me walk in and stand at the counter for at least 2 and 1/2 minutes. After me staring her and her friend down, friend decides to say somebody's at the counter. The young lady who originally helped me, said, "someone else's back there"and had me finish waiting. I walked down where I can talk to the lady who's making the food, I asked her could she please help me and get me an iced water. She said sure, her customer service was great but unfortunately she was in the kitchen. I asked the lady who was in the kitchen what was the young lady's name who was originally serving me. She told me she's right there you can ask her for yourself, I told her she probably would not let me know her name and the lady said oh without giving me her name. I hate to say this, but it's always your own people, black people! And people are running around saying I only support black businesses, NOT ME, I ONLY SUPPORT GOOD...
Read moreI'm writing this after a truly awful experience at Dunkin' today, and frankly, I'm still shocked about it. As a working parent, I rely on my coffee, and I always grab a bag of brew at home Dunkin. I know exactly how it should taste, which is why I was surprised when the last bag I opened tasted stale and just plain bad. It had to have been a bad batch.
So, I brought the bag and my receipt back to the store this afternoon, fully expecting a simple, no-fuss exchange. Nope.
First, the employee at the counter was immediately rude, practically rolling their eyes when I explained the problem. They refused to help and called over the manager. That's when things went from bad to worse.
The manager was even more dismissive and downright insulting. Despite me having the receipt and explaining that I buy this product all the time, they flat-out refused to exchange the coffee. They spoke to me with a tone that was completely unprofessional and acted like I was trying to pull a fast one.
The absolute worst part? My daughter was standing right there and had to witness the manager's aggressive, rude talk. That's a memory no parent wants their kid to have—watching someone treat their parent like dirt over a bag of coffee.
This isn't how you treat a loyal customer. I left with my bad coffee and I immediately opened a case on the Dunkin' app because that manager needs some serious customer service training. I work hard for my money, and I expect basic respect, especially when there's clearly an issue with a product. I won't be back to this location anytime soon.
There's plenty of other places nearby to get coffee. No sense in giving any business to this Dunkin location. They simply are the rudest people I've met here...
Read moreImagine heading to dunkin doughnuts because your daughter has been craving a strawberry doughnut. The last few times I visited the location they had close early which I could understand due to short staffing and issues in the service industry amid the pandemic.
Today when I arrived grateful they were open I was greeted by the most unwelcoming individual who was clearly not excited to be at work and has zero education on hospitality. She never said “welcome” or anything. Just “go ahead with your order” when I asked how she was doing she just responded with “fine” well she was having a bad day and now she’s ruining mine with the extremely rude attitude.
When I arrived at the window I asked for a number to call and as she laughed she went to get her manager. Let’s just say he showed where her lack of training and hospitality came from. In letting him know how unwelcome I felt and how I was treated he never apologized or didn’t even greet me with a smile-he said well we are busy. He proceeded to walk away and so did the employee working the window.
There was constant laughing and loud talking (because they were very busy) and someone else had to come give me my food. I am being very honest when I say this was the worst experience I’ve ever had when it comes to guest service. Dont ruin someone else’s day just because you are...
