Like the prince determined to find Cinderella with just her lost slipper, I found the absolute best vegetarian pizza (Forager) AND Wednesday Trivia Night (this place is packed for it!) in Greenville at Unity Park now. To show I am unbiased and love management and guests equally, Southernside Brewery gets my vote for best outdoor music venue (except the crowd can block the too small outdoor TV) and keeping everyone safe (hint: bathrooms are great places to advertise SOS codes, and the Five Forks Library took Safe Harbor information down? Not OK!) . As a second shoutout, pkl park has the BEST HUGE TV (think drive-in theater but with Adirondack chairs, order from your seat QR codes, a rectangular fire pit (10 people?) when it gets cold, free water to refill your bottle (but the dispenser was broken?) room for kids to throw a football without hitting others, and what looked like a small playground but it was too dark to say for sure - the BIG TV MY CINDERELLA because all I wanted was to watch Alabama play Duke on the best outdoor TV. Access is free - but free also meant a lady upset in the bathroom because she just realized whatever drink (Howler?) someone just shared might be making her high. So! Let’s all on this shared journey look out for each other, even the guy outside smoking by his truck who might like the Bailey Zimmerman song literally on a sticker here in Pangea: “You Don’t Want That Smoke.” So many of us - like whoever left this sticker - value authenticity for the right reasons (self-love not image), and my own mirror needs polishing every day to love myself,...

After hearing people talk about it, this was my first time going to Pangaea. Unfortunately, there were many issues. My friend and I told the lady we ordered with we wanted to split a pizza. Then when we eventually got our pizzas, we had two different ones, and we were then told they couldn't split our pizza. We feel like we should have been told that from the very beginning because we would have adjusted our order.

The lady ran both of our cards, but when we went to close out (we only had pizza and water), we found out she didn't correctly run our cards. The manager on duty did take care of this issue for us, which was very nice of him.

When my friend and I ordered, we were very displeased by the drink choices. We don't drink, and the non-alcoholic choices were not of our taste. We thought getting water out of a jug was a little disgusting. We wish there had been at least Sweet Tea, Sprite, or Coke.

My friend and I were quite frustrated with the wait we had for our pizza. My friend eventually got up to ask the lady where we ordered when our pizza would be ready. She went to check on it. It had been sitting for over 10 minutes, ready for us. The person said they buzzed us, but our beeper never went off. Our pizza was good, but it would have been excellent had it been fresh out of the oven.

Overall, I do not know if I will go back. The head cook made great pizza, but our overall experience...

Decided to try something new and got to this cool spot. Next to a park that’s getting built so it’s only going to get busier! Customer service was however very lacking - the only one to actually greet us and take our order happened to be the girl that was still in training. She was awesome! But when my spouse and I walked in, there was a worker standing at the food window and she made eye contact with me and immediately turned away and told the person in the kitchen “two more just walked in.” Not only did she see me and I saw her, she proceeded to not say anything but told the other coworker that she indeed did see us walk in. Sat at the bar and the girl in training recommended some menu items and took our order. Pizza was actually VERY good! The girl who waited on us continued to check on us and made sure we were good. Seems like a brewery that takes service to the bare minimum though - we had to get our own water if we wanted something to drink other than beer. The beer isn’t really something I’d try again either but the food is probably the only thing that would bring me back if I ever decide to. Hoping that the workers there take notes on customer service from the girl in training cause I probably would’ve left if it wasn’t for her. They did have a cool set up and...

After letting the kids play at Unity Park, we decided to grab a quick bite at Pangaea Brewing. Located just a few steps from the park, Pangaea offers a variety of their brews and some solid pizza. We ordered their pepperoni pizza aka “American” because our younger kids are picky. A table next to us ordered the pizza that me and my wife wanted (the Spanish) and it smelled amazing. We don’t drink much, but we thought a cold brew would be perfect for the hot summer day. We ordered the Chupacabrew and also got a sample of the Turtle Juice. The Chupacabrew had a similar taste to a Corona, which was perfect for today and the Turtle Juice was a green seltzer. I want to say that the young lady working there said it was inspired by the Baja Blast. It was good enough that I took a 4 pack home with me. Just a heads up…I think all the pizzas come in one size and I want to say they’re 14”. Overall, we had a great experience at Pangaea. The pizza was delicious and the staff was awesome. They also have some games and coloring sheets available for the kids while they wait on the food.

Very enjoyable brewery! I only had two beers but found them both tasty; one was an IPA and the other a lemongrass & wheat ale. The pizza was also very good; glad I arrived on $12, 3-topping night. Jill (hope I got the name right), who was behind the counter, is awesome and elevated the experience even more..super friendly and very hard working. It’s a nice space that seemed very family friendly. I’ll definitely check this place out again when in the area. I also appreciate that there’s a beer named ‘Clever Girl’. Finally, there’s a water station and three individual gender neutral bathrooms of your choosing.
