I travel around the area quite a bit and talk to different people.A lot of locals told me that Sweeties was the best donuts in Greenville. I have been looking for a Shipley's Donut place. I have to go to Terrell or Mesquite, McKinney. I found one place 30 minutes away and it reminded me of Shipley's Donuts. Rich in butter and sweet glaze. I'm believe this is my new place called Queen S. I loved the customer service. 5 dollar minimum on debit. Everyone loves Sweeties! They open very early and have a large selection of donuts. Their mixed dozen is great for big groups. I usually get 2 old fashions or a kolache. They have these Boudin kolaches that are delicious. Their jalapeno kolaches are also really good, as are the plain ones. The staff is extremely nice.
