Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Greenwich Township

Me and my partner came here last night after doing some shopping. The employee at the register was having a conversation about hooking up with their friend who was standing outside the Rita’s so I had to wait a couple minutes until I can start ordering. All good, I just thought they would be doing that on their own time. The custard flavors we were looking for ended up not being available and only 4 flavors were available. Okay that’s fine. So I ordered a pumpkin and chocolate flavor. As I got back on the car I realized they gave me a vanilla instead of pumpkin spice. Other employees are just standing there texting on they're phones. Such a weird...

Just took a sip of my misto and felt something sharp, spit it out, and found a bitten off finger nail... upon further inspection of the rest of the misto, there was also some brown stuff in it. No idea what it was as it was a lemon vanilla misto. I was at the Rita's 15 minutes before close and had a decent sized order for my family. Not sure if the girl that made my order was annoyed by this, but this is disgusting. It's not a sit down restaurant. You should be able to show up 15 minutes prior to close and get a cup of shaved ice without having to risk someone doing something to it. Absolutely...

I want to love Rita’s and am excited for season opening. I am very disappointed and not very excited about the same ol’ Flavors. Not very appealing; please shake it up. Butterscotch krimpet? Cranberry ice? How about Apple or cherry pie filling topping? Would stop by for treats with fire pit outside. Please shake it up this year.. hate having go to PA for better Rita’s flavors.

Please give don’t keep the cookiebrownie ice you created it tastes horrible it has a bad chemical fake taste to it. I didn’t think Rita’s could have a bad flavor then...
