A Truly Exceptional Dining Experience at Ju Ju

We recently celebrated our anniversary at Ju Ju, and it was, without question, one of the best dinners we've had in years. From the moment we arrived, everything was impeccable. We started the evening with champagne to toast the occasion, followed by passion fruit margaritas that were absolutely outstanding—bright, fresh, and perfectly balanced.

The food was just as impressive. The guacamole and ceviche were incredibly fresh and flavorful, setting the tone for the rest of the meal. We moved on to the tacos, and each one somehow managed to outdo the last. Every bite was a burst of thoughtful flavor and top-notch ingredients.

Our server, Jonathan, was a highlight of the evening. Friendly, attentive, and full of great recommendations, he made the experience feel truly special. His warmth and hospitality added a personal touch that elevated the whole evening.

As someone originally from Old Greenwich and now living in NYC, I can honestly say Ju Ju rivals—and in many ways surpasses—many top NYC restaurants. After dinner, we enjoyed drinks at the bar, where the bartender not only crafted delicious cocktails but also took the time to chat with us, adding to the warm and welcoming atmosphere.

We just had a great Mexican feast catered by juju for our family holiday party of 30 people. I cannot say enough how amazing it was! From speaking with the manager, Adham, planning the menu with the chef, to the guidance provided on serving each dish, they were such a pleasure to deal with. The food was generously and thoughtfully packaged with care. The whole staff went above and beyond. Then the food- each bite was so flavorful and delicious! The added sauces and spices topped it all off! This was the best Mexican food that I ever had! (And we've been to Mexico many times!) Everyone loved the food and many of our guests inquired about the restaurant. They are looking forward to dining at Juju in the near future. OG needs a good Mexican restaurant so I’m hoping they read this review and take it into consideration. The shredded chicken in both the kids tacos and enchiladas were way too salty. We sent it back. The neighboring table also sent back their food for being too salty. I wonder if the chefs were over compensating for the reviews that said the food was flavorless? Whatever the case they need to find the right balance of seasoning. The guac was good but the chips didn’t taste fresh and were really hard, and for $16 they need to provide more chips at least enough to finish the guac with. The elotes (corn) appetizer was tasty but a bit too runny. Rice was yummy. This place has potential with a few adjustments! Oh, and it was pretty...
