Went to this location to pick up lunch 2-3-23 around 11am. I dont know the young guys name who was working the register with the, im pretty sure longer, comb over, dirty blone hair but hes incredibly rude. I watched him lose his patience with a CLEARLY disabled individual who had down syndrome. I watched for about 3mins, him with an incredibly rude and condescending tone tell this man that he cannot put soda in a small clear plastic water cup. (I have worked in food for over a decade, im aware of food cost, store policies, etc.) This lovely human was attempting to ask your employee about the carbonated water used to "make" the soda and i watched him turn his back and almost walk away. His response with a very clearly annoyed expression on his face was something passive aggressive along the lines of "yeah CO2. You CANNOT PUT SODA IN A WATER CUP." His tone, his demeanor, the entire interaction with someone who clearly may have had some sort of intellectual disability and was potentially not understanding/focused on what was being said was disgusting to watch. Your two employees who made my food, the young lady with glasses and her nose pierced and another guy proceeded to giggle and also be unprofessional about the entire interaction. Wasted my $ here and the sandwich itself was mediocre. More than unimpressed with this location. Train your staff better to be more inclusive to people with more sensitive needs. If you dont have the patience and tact to deal with people of all types and "de-escalate" a situation that really should have been no big deal in this case you should not work in food, or really customer service at all. It was a...
Read moreJimmy should be fired. There were literally no other customers in the building and neither of the two employees, Kyle and Jimmy, were in the middle of any big task. Not only did they not put the items I requested on my sandwich, I specifically reached over and pointed to the mayo and the red stuff next to it said "not that." No receipt was given. I get home and guess what's all over my sandwich? The mayo that I can't eat. Have to go back to work, so can't go back, no lunch for me. I call to request a refund, specifically stating it's because I cannot come back for a new sub. Jimmy answered and decided he just didn't want to do his job to look up and process the refund, so he tells me I would have to come back in with the receipt, otherwise there was nothing they could do about a refund, which we all know is a flat out lie. He was rude and insulting the entire way through the call, and when I remind him that he can look up my order, he yells at me saying too bad, without a receipt there's nothing they would do, and I could call back tomorrow for the manager to say the same, then promptly hung up on me. I call back to get both of their names, and kyle answers. Funny, he was able to look up my order in about 5 seconds and process the refund immediately. Without the receipt. Over the phone. Hmmm. Despite the food itself usually being quite good, I will not give my money to places who allow their employees to treat people that way, bc if he does it to me, that means he does it to others. Good thing a cheeba hut and a potbelly just...
Read moreWe eat here very often and like some of the other people that have posted have never had a bad experience. Tonight was very different. A young lady and a young man were working together and at about 7:50 p.m. We walked in and didn't even get through the door before she asked if we knew what we wanted. Eating there as often as I do I knew what I wanted so I ordered it and she blurted out "I knew it!" As her and the guy looked at each other smugly... I told her if it was too much trouble I could order something else. At this point you would think you would get an apology or some sort of reasonable explanation for the rudeness. Not a chance with these two behind the counter. She said " I just knew it, I just always know when people are gonna order hot sandwiches." My fiancée looks at me with a troubled face and said "shoot maybe I shouldn't order a cheesteak either." I said order what you want, it's an hour until closing and we shouldn't have to feel bad for ordering a sandwich at a sandwich shop! I always tip 20% regardless! I understand it sucks to make hot sandwiches that's why I try to compensate in some small way... you don't have to tip at any other sandwich shop in the local area. No tip for these yoyos. Awkward and super disappointing especially because we do a decent amount of business here on a monthly basis. The other staff are usually awesome (hence three stars)! Never had a run in with these two. Wednesday night...
