I was looking for a couple of Bagels. I searched and found Cafe Euclid. It is just west of Madison Avenue off of Euclid. It is a coffee shop that used to be an older home. The interior still looks like a home without all the furniture. The main dining room is the first thing you see when you step in off the porch. The kitchen/service counter is towards the back in a second room. Probably the original dining room. When I visited they were very busy. I had to wait a short time to order. They had specialty drinks and food. The gal who took my order was very nice. It was a bit tight on space as I waited. There was another dining area just to the right, however I did not check it out. Read moreBagels are unique in a delicious way. Kinda pricey for the amount of food received. Coffee and bagel around $15.00 for below average sized coffee and sand-which. Atmosphere is great. Paintings and tables are beautiful.
I am not a fan when a place is open until 2pm but stops serving their menu at variable times when it gets slow. Today I got there at 1:40 and saw two people sitting down and on their phones and they were quite eager to tell me they stopped serving food the moment I walked in the door. It’s frustrating when a place says it’s open until 2 online and you take your personal time to drive there and get there 20 minutes before it closes and they aren’t serving food anymore.
The hours of operation are counter to most of coffee drinkers schedules. Closing at 2 means students and teachers cannot really enjoy this place at all Monday...

The menu has lots of interesting options that look absolutely wonderful. I really wanted to try the honey goat cheese bagel with fruit, but they were out. So I tried the avocado bagel with pickled onions, balsamic goat cheese, and roasted tomatoes. It was absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a nice healthy brunch or lunch option. I also ordered one of their seasonal drinks, the apple cinnamon chai. I was surprised that it didn't have milk in it, but it was still lovely. It was like a spiced apple juice that was...
