We use to live in Greenwood until 2018. When we lived here, there was a nice little park with a baseball diamond and what not. Happened to be back in town today and stopped at the park.
Wow. This place is totally different. They have a three story climbing area/thingie, a climbing hill, climbing walls, a merry go round thing with rope to hang onto and more for bigger kids. There is a merry go round kind of thing for little ones too.
There are nice walking and biking surfaces through the park. The creek that splits the park can be traversed by a bridge. Under the bridge are rock stairs so you can go trapsing into the creek. It was a warm day and there were a fair number of kiddos stomping in the creek.
Mrs. Curls Ice Cream is at the east end of the park too. If you are hot, it is a short walk for aome tasty, frozen treats.
Parking is at the library or on the street. There is a fair amount of parking, just be careful leaving the library as street parking kind of blocks traffic.
Overall we enjoyed this park snd will take the kiddos back before...

The only downside is that it's right across from Mrs. Curl which we will no longer support - so they are getting business from people that don't know the story. But that's not a knock on the park itself. There are plenty of areas for parents to sit as well. Not really much shade so we will see how much parents enjoy it in the summer, but I'm sure the kids won't...
