Edit: few weeks later and I’ve still used the same debit card everywhere I’ve gone. Thanks for the insult. Update your systems.
I used to go here all the time. Today was the last time. During Covid they yelled at you for being inside, but that’s a different story. Today I went in to get a dozen donuts and they were overly rude and offensive. The First Lady couldn’t read my card (they don’t have a chip reader and needed to type it in because the swipe is worn off the back) and she says it won’t work, probably because she’s 102 years old and can’t read it, but I was nice and didn’t say anything yet. So I told her I could pay cash and they all freaked when they saw a 100 dollar bill lol. So I assume the manager came over, said no she isn’t taking my us currency and proceeded to tell me my card probably doesn’t work anywhere else (which is strange because I used to fuel up before coming to their location). She laughed at me and tried to type the card number in. I was so offended I said some not nice things and left. Last time I’ll ever visit this place. I own 3 businesses and I’ll be letting everyone know about the experiences I have there. Also… at my businesses I take us currancy. Incase anyone is wondering. This is literally the worse staffed bakery I’ve ever been to. If you’re not getting yelled at for not having a mask on, they are refusing your money and telling you you’re debit card does work, not declined, just doesn’t work....
Read moreUnfortunate that after years of coming to Jacks in Greenwood, Fishers, and Carmel, that I won't be coming back over a single dollar. I ordered Jacks on DoorDash this morning. The receipt being $12.45 for 7 donuts and an iced coffee. I received a call from Jacks saying that "Sorry, our iced coffee is actually $4.45 and not the $3.10 it charged you on DoorDash. You'll have to call DoorDash and get your money back but I can't give you something that's a whole dollar cheaper than what it should be" Me being me, I wasn't about to argue with someone working at Jacks who is just doing their job. It's not her fault or decision. I would encourage you to A. Ensure your pricing is correct on 3rd party platforms so this doesn't happen. B. Empower your employees to make decisions regarding things of this nature. There's no reason to lose a customer over a single dollar and and iced coffee. I understand minimizing shrink as much as possible in the food industry. Seems weird to me to not honor a price listed on a 3rd party app that you advertise doing...
Read moreDecided to try this place for the first time since moving to Greenwood a year ago. I ordered the cream cheese iced blueberry filled donut and my boyfriend ordered a classic apple fritter. The donuts were TO DIE FOR!! In my opinion, the cream cheese one alone gives Long's Donuts AND Rise N Roll a run for their money. In addition to the donuts, we ordered a 12oz vanilla cappuccino and a 16oz mocha iced latte. The total came up to about $14. This is where the problems began. We received a 12oz vanilla cappuccino and a 12oz HOT vanilla latte. Not what we ordered. But we decided to let it slide since we were mainly here for the donuts. Taking the first sip of my coffee, I almost spit it back out. It was absolutely HORRIBLE. Almost had like a burned taste to it. So of course we had to add 6 creamers and 3 sugars to it. I do not recommend buying coffee from them (they sell...
