Where do you go in Greenwood when you need a short break or want to take the kids to play? How about Craig Park!
This lovely municipal park provides visitors an array of activities for them to enjoy. The open air shelter house has plenty of space for family and community gatherings (easily holds 40 or 50 people) and the nearby playground offers kids the perfect place to climb, slide, and swing the day away. Up for a walk or a run? The trail through the park offers a good trek, just be mindful of some of the modest hills. Ball parks are also located on site and perfect for league play. Parking is also accessible off Smith Valley Road, although this lot is small and can be tight if other gatherings are on-going.
One down side is that it is a trip to get to restaurants and other attractions. If you plan to be there for a while, be sure to bring some refreshments. Overall, this is a good quality...

He was driving up to go to the bathrooms in his huge truck and nearly ran over my children and nieces and nephews.
There was about 12 people on the walking path, there’s no way he didn’t see us, he didn’t slow down, and when we confronted him he did not care.
My daughter was screaming because he was so close to hitting her, honestly we couldn’t get out of his way fast enough it seemed.
My sister in law reached out to have it investigated, but this man was being incredibly dangerous and reckless and should not be around kids...
