We would come quite often and get a vanilla malt milkshake. And maybe concretes or A quart of vanilla with the two sides. The last two times my order has been wrong! Last week I was craving a vanilla malt milkshake and went through the drive-thru, like every other time. Instead I received their “double malt shake”, because I order the vanilla malt with extra malt powder. And I am very clear. I get three shakes two vanilla malt and one chocolate malt. So I have them in the drink carrier sometimes I have to ask for the carrier and then I put it on the floorboard because I bring it home. They have a menu item called “double malt shake”. It has a little bit of chocolate syrup at the bottom so I didn’t see it as well. When I get home, of course it’s wrong. Didn’t call thinking it’s a one off. Tonight I order the same order also with a pint of vanilla to go. I got My normal order. The vanilla was vanilla this time. Ordered extra malt powder on the vanillas. But yet when I get home and taste it all three shakes. I have no malted powder let alone Extra malt powder. This time I called, it rang a lot, which is totally understandable. Once they answered, I asked for the manager. He said was the manager. I had to ask for his name, which is Mason. I explained what happened tonight. I also mentioned what happened last week but I wasn’t calling about that. He wasn’t very apologetic. Never even said sorry. He said well you can drive back and we’ll fix it, the standard answer for most restaurant. Told them it would take 20 minutes to get there then 20 minutes back so I was not going to go back tonight. Asked if they had a list where you could put your name on it for messed up orders or if they would credit me on my order for tonight, you can just go through the drive-through and tell them that you had a messed up order and they “should” fix it. But I asked if I come for a week from now would it be able to be fixed and there was no answer for a For a couple of seconds. There was very loud music in the back and mentioned that and he didn't respond. It was hard to hear him so I know maybe it was hard for me to be heard. He said call me back in 20 or 30 minutes after I talk to the guy that supposedly did the order and I don’t know what would happen if they’ll fix it or not. But they don’t normally give a receipt. So I don’t have a receipt. Thus, there’s no record showing what was order/put in. It also doesn’t show on the Andy’s app that I use to check-in to receive points. The app is very outdated. When I placed tonight‘s order, I was very clear clear stated my order about five times due to the mess up last time. The kid even asked so you want to vanilla and I said yes to vanilla malt shakes with extra malt powder. I am extremely frustrated! I worked in restaurants when I was a teen, and we were very customer service focused very apologetic when orders were wrong, even if there was a confusion and even if it was maybe the customers fault. Pretty much all restaurants except the high-end restaurants are severely lacking customer service! Then you pay more because everything is costing more but yet you’re receiving less! Highly advised thinking twice before going. Also watch the drive-through it is very difficult to get through the highest curbs and a sharp turn. No normal intercom system for ordering so you order with a person with their iPad or you order at the window. And no matter what you pay at the window. I also asked for two carriers to double it up because the drink carriers are so flimsy. I’ve almost spilled the milkshakes before putting them down into the floorboard. UPDATE 4-1-2021 THIS TRIP WAS A LITTLE DISAPPOINTING I saw on display where you can download the app so that you can earn rewards, I downloaded the app while I was waiting to get my ice cream this was my first time doing it so the app was a little confusing, and the clerk at the window, it would have been nice if they had asked me if I had a Andy's reward like some places do, because I had pulled it up but in the process of having a conversation with the clerk, I ended up forgetting to show him the number to get my rewards and he didn't give me my receipt, so I have no way of getting credit for this order and I spent over $11 that was very disappointing. I'm also a military veteran it was very disappointing an offensive when I asked the clerk if they give military discounts like most places do, and he said only law enforcement, I laughed and asked him is law enforcement more important than military and he was like no he doesn't make the rules.
