I went to sonic today to get the promotion 79 cent slushies. I asked multiple times what flavors were the promotion slushies and they kept telling me all flavors. I ordered and my total was way higher than what it should be. The employee did not explain to me that if I added flavors it would cost more, I had to ask about 3 more times before a manager came out and told me about the flavors. I told him that I had asked many times and they did not explain that to me and my concern was the total was $8 more than what it should be. He told me that she did explain it, he was standing right behind her. I told him, no because if she did I would not be having this issue. He again said, yah, I was standing right there. I said, ok, I dont want to argue with you, can you please get my order? He said no, have a great day and walked away. I called up there to get the corporate number and the manager told me he didn't have it, to go online and look it up, then hung up. I went online but of course no number to call, just send something in I'm on their website. I can't even do that because it only allows a message sent if I had a ticket number, since the manager walked away from me I have no ticket #. Read moreFood does taste good, but not completely amazing, which it's not meant to be. Prices are a little high, but happy hour and shakes at night sure are a good deal. Their shakes are amazing, which I didn't count as food. Yet, employees do use their bare hands a lot touching the food to make it. Any fast food restaurant will basically do that to you, at least eventually. I saw this a lot, which didn't completely disgust me, because there is a huge point in history enter people did have cleaning products or gloves to serve food and they were still okay- but still, you never know what could happen. Service is nice, but employees change all the time. So if you get isn't one year with people, you didn't hate the place forever, managers keep changing as everyone else and those people to blame moved on. So eventually it may be good to come back. They ate decently fast. Their food comes and goes constantly even if it doesn't seen like it outside, so they don't even have much time for most food to just sit there. They have to keep cooking it fresh. But all their meat comes from frozen meat. It's not straight fresh like Wendy's. But what restaurants, at least fast food, even don't use...
Read moreSuper nice staff. Food was hot, fresh and good. Forgot my wallet and didn't realize it until I got to the window to pay at the drive-thru. I had the mobile app already set up for mobile orders. So they let me just order on the app and cancel them as they came through. Since they had already made the food as I ordered it at the drive-thru before. Then I had to go and the app was having issues so they let me go with the food. We were happy and got to eat breakfast before we started a job that day. Once the job was done I tried the app again. This time it worked and so I placed and paid for the order through my app and called to let them know not to make it since it was what I owed from this am. They were supposed I think and appreciative. I would not want some one having to pay for my breakfast that they were already working hard to make money at their job. So I did the right thing.
