Listen up, grill enthusiasts and golf connoisseurs, because dad' is about to take you on a Tigeresque drive of, Trade Street Social right located in downtown Greer, SC! I walked in thinking, âWhatâs the deal with a place called Trade Street? Are they swapping secrets or just my bad golf swing?â But folks, this spot on Trade Street had me hooked faster than a fish on my lucky lureâfore real! Letâs tee off with their state-of-the-art golf simulators, which are smoother than my attempts to sneak veggies into the kidsâ mac ânâ cheese. These bad boys let you play world-famous courses without leaving your bar stool, tracking every shot like itâs auditing my dad bod. I swung away, imagining I was Tiger Woods, but ended up more like a woodchuck chucking woodâhilarious misses that had the whole bay laughing! And the craft cocktails and tasty bites? Oh boy, their elevated casual menu sizzles hotter than my grill on Fourth of July. I sipped a signature mule that kicked like my lawnmower after a winter nap, paired with bites so flavorful, theyâre like the punchline to my best joke: unexpected and oh-so-satisfying. These simulators heat up the fun like my dance moves, at my prom back in the day. All flash and no crash!
This place is more than a venue; itâs the sweet spot; blending bites, brews, and bays into backyard-level bliss for $20-30 a head, unless you're hitting the SIM (then it's fore (more). You can bond over birdeys and beers, reminding us all, that lifeâs best moments are shared, playing with friends and family, not alone. Swing by, folksâitâs a hole-in-fun...
Read moreFirst visit recently, went with a friend and we both enjoyed the food, burger and steak tacos, no cocktails so cannot comment. The place is larger than expected, with a nice long bar with a good selection of liquor. Visited on a rainy Monday, therefore only a few people there, so service was quick. The old brick and large wooden beam columns and rafters are nice. The only thing that was unpleasant was the very loud cracks when the golf balls would hit the screen. I read several other reviews where this was mentioned, but was still surprised when I walked in and was startled by a loud crack. There were only 2 people hitting, I can't imagine if it was full with a lot of people hitting more frequently. I think they need to wall the area off with a Plexiglas wall, with a door to suppress the sound. Personally I would just scrap it and install booths along the wall, unless they see a lot of revenue from these. The place is large enough for a band, would be nice to have live music on Fri/Sat. Overall it is a nice addition to downtown Greer, and people should give them a try. I wish...
Read moreA friend and I stopped in for dinner. The menu looked great online. The food was pretty good. I had the grilled chicken sandwich and she had the shrimp tacos.
Our service was not good. It had to have been our servers first day ever in this job role. Thatâs how bad it was. Not writing anything down, having to come back to our table multiple times to clarify our orders, forgetting things etc. it was just bad. My friend and I had two separate checks. Mine was $27. I paid and tipped. I checked my bank account days later to find our server used my card to pay for my friendâs tab. And used her card to pay for my bill. I noticed because my card was charged $56 (my friendâs tab amount) and thatâs a big difference from my original $27 tab. This was on a Tuesday and it was not busy so canât use that excuse as a distraction. I would probably return but go for a different server and at a later date when they have time to smooth out some...
