It IS EVERY TIME Eye go.... The ladies don't know what the item is.. If it's buttercream or whip icing. Eye am from Texas and never heard of a shoesole... But was told to run, not walk to Antoine's. So ... Off Eye go. The first time was gr8.. Eye was in a pickle and needed a cake for my gf birthday... đ so the man Terry, Eye think is his name... He made it from hot pink and yellow balloons --- to something more asthetic for her . She is not a femme by any means đđ... So home run... Eye go back and the younger lady began helping me but was unaware of what EVERY item Eye inquired about. So the guy comes and says the same.. "Not quite sure what it is".... Okay so Eye get my usual loaf for my pops . ... Some german chocolate bites, red velvet, etc. (All for my gf bc Eye like whip icning) An easy 30$ spent to get treated like Eye was a baffoon and even more so, spent my money with a company who put the loaf on bottom og bag and other items in top ( squishing the loaf ) ( Come on sis..... Reallllly?!?) Just don't say anything ... Thank them and go about my way... Again today, it's a hot a 7th layer of Donte's inferno.... And Eye boldly go to face an opportunity to get good service, Eye will settle for mediocre.... ( Eye have concluded that the onwer's kids or some kinfolk FOR SURE work there ) bc their attitude is as dry as the air outside. But Eye carry on and spend another 30$ ... Before eating Eye bless my food and the workers and the bakers and the labor etc... Eye suggest you pray for them and their 'non give a eff' attitude... You wanna walk in and be greeted WITH or by SOMEONE who is enthusiastic about their product and envoirage you to try something you haven't yet tried, but deep down, you wanna..... Sigh... I ordered a two tiered cake for my daughterâs College Graduation (wow a big milestone) because due to COVID she didnât get a chance to have a graduation in 2020. So I wanted to go all out for her this time. I placed my order on 4/13/24 put half down gave a picture of how I wanted both cakes top tier white with buttercream filling and bottom tier royal blue with pineapple filling, mind you the order form says reference picture. Went back a week later at about 4pm to pay the other half, and there was a lot of unprofessional, lots of clowning going on and one customer talking about how they used to give him free stuff and two rude young ladies! Anyway my pickup day was 5/10/24, when I got there to pick up my order and to my surprise it was Totally wrong, they bought out a white tiered cake the top and bottom tier, I was shocked and let them know it was wrong and Loria A was giving me attitude like it was my fault. I saw AG who initially taken the order and personally said she was going to do my cake, but when it was wrong I never saw her again. I called the Metairie store to ask for a manager because mind you when asked for one while at the Gretna store no one knew who they were. They told me to come back at 4pm and they will redo the cake! The color still didnât look right, really the whole cake! The next day at the graduation party still got disappointed because the whole cake was pineapple filling top tier no buttercream at all. I tried calling on 5/13/24 to speak with the owner or manager at the Gretna store @ 7:23 am they pretended to take my phone number and was going to call me back. I called the Metairie store on 5/14/24 and left a message with Yolanda and she remembered the situation and she had taken my phone number so she can have the owner call me back, and I am still waiting on that call but as you can read, it never happened and Iâve given them ample of time to.    Read moreOn 7/1/2023 we purchased a cake for a coworker. The cake shifted and the taste was horrible. It was not like the Antoine cakes we had been getting for years. I called on 3 different occasions and spoke with 3 different ppl and left my information each time for the manager to get back with me. I was promised a call back and that never happened. 1st the lady told me a female manager will be calling me back then she said sheâs new and donât know whatâs going on so the guy manager would be giving me a call back. She refuse to give me the names but assured me they will be calling me back. She also mentioned that there was so many complaints from that day and an employee who was no longer employed messed up a lot of cakes. It wasnât even so much about the money but who wants to spend $60 on cake thatâs shifted and tasted horrible. At least a call back would have been professional. After buying cakes from here for years I wonât spend a dime there anymore because I couldnât even get a call back or an apology knowing yâall employee messed up. Reading through the reviews I can see customer service is not a priority with you guys. After posting on my social media page about my experience there was 2 replies that stuck out to me who said they also had the same experience on that exact day. One guy even mentioned that he put in an order 3 weeks prior they told him his cake would be ready at 4pm on 7/1/23 and it end up being ready at closing time and it still wasnât the decorations or cake he asked for.
