McDonald's — Restaurant in Gretna

Absolutely my favorite McDonald's ever!!! Where do I start... I came to get coffee everyday and I first thought man everybody here works so hard. When you go in it's already busy but no one is standing around. Everyone is doing something quickly and the team moves like a machine. Aside from that now.... The service....One of a kind.the team is so nice and hospitable! You almost feel like part of the family... They get to know your order quickly and have it ready dang near before you are! And your never ready to just leave because the team members are COMEDY! and in the best way! They joke they laugh they will have you smiling before you leave. I came for the coffee but got so much more!! There a lady there I call her the McDonalds Mama. She's always in the front and she pretty much directs everything. She usually wear braids you know who you are. She actually cares about people. I got a breakfast sandwich and ordered salt and the whole entire front line of workers was like, "ohhhhh she ordered salt!" .. My McDonald's Mama turns around and begins to tell me about high blood pressure and how she looks out for all the seniors that come in and order salt and just everyone in general and how too much salt is not good. (Which I surely already knew) needless to say I didn't get the salt but I felt good. She don't know me but cares about each and everyone's health like we're her own. She don't have to but wants to. And everyone is "Her Love" it's the sweetest greeting and goodbye you could ever get from a stranger. I cried specifically for not being able to go to this McDonald's again when I left the city ... Yeah I'm sappy... But when you feel loved you just feel loved. This team got it down pat. Thank you morning crew of McDonalds. The coffee girl who orders with 10 sugars...

Only one side of Kiosk worked, Ordered a Double Quarter Pounder with cheese and bacon meal. After a couple bites of my burger which from the outside looked fully cooked but toppings bunched to one side I realized one party was still cold and pink on the inside. So I immediately took it to the counter to show the attendent. She took my sandwich which also still had my fries on the other side of the box(since you no longer have trays when dining in.) and tried to figure out what to do.

The young lady was helpful but I can tell the cooks seem to be a bit annoyed by the complaint. She let me know they would remake my food and I went back to my seat. When she brought it back, it was a single quarter pounder with bacon and no fries. I didn't have time to sit and deal with a second return to the counter so I just said screw it.

My daughter got a nugget meal which was overcooked and our sweet teas were bland as hell. Even worse was that the soda fountain tasted as if there was soap in the lines and was just disgusting.

I will never be returning to this McDonald's...

Caramel Frappe: Small, Medium, Large= Caramel “M” squirt… Small you can get a taste of caramel, Medium & Large= Ice! That’s all you taste! This is the first time I ever heard this, also first time I had a tasteless C.Frappe, mind you last time I got a frappe here, they put it on the walls of the cup and topped it off with a squirt on 🔝, Called and she said bring it back with the receipt and we will fix it, “no receipt,” why when my son was there and asked where was the caramel, couldn’t it be fixed there, they just gave the attitude story of the “M” squirt, Employees should make customers orders the same, not show favoritism, and leave whatever emotions they bring to work at the door and put in their CUSTOMER SERVICE UNIFORM… People pay for what they like and when they come back and want that Frappe they loved so much before and pay for Ice, yall beverage sales will go out that window and then you just have that horrible customer service that’s dropping sales and giving McDonalds a bad reputation… ZERO Stars by the way, thank you...
