Sam's Washington Bar — Restaurant in Gretna

Went for the first time today, definitely won't be the last. Yes, it's a hole-in-the-wall dive bar. Yes, they smoke in here and there are cigarettes in the vending machine. It might be cash only too (my friend treated me to lunch today). If any of that bothers you- GO SOME PLACE ELSE because the boiled everything on Thursdays is WORTH IT. Turkey necks, neck bones, pig feet, smoked sausage, corn & potatoes was what they had today- all served in a styrofoam go-box in case you can't finish. Slap-ya-momma good food here.
