Buffalo's Cafe — Restaurant in Griffin

Good food. Service was a little slow but considering there were only 3 servers I think they did really good. Fries could have been cooked a little longer, they were kinda squishy. The southwest rolls are always good as an appetizer. The fish sandwich was good and very big. The boneless wings are pretty big. My husband got the 12 piece and ended up taking half of them home.

Update 7/23/23 The waitress was very good and the food was good. My only issue was the prices. Everything has gone up. I got the 8 piece wings and they were kind of small and looked dry, like you couldn't see any sauce on them. I asked the waitress for a little extra sauce and there was a charge on my receipt for 60¢ for extra sauce. If I'm already paying $12.99 for 8 smallish wings I shouldn't have to pay extra to be able to taste the sauce on them. Next time I want wings I'll go to Uncle Bobby's. The wings are bigger and they put more sauce on them.

Update 11/08/23 The waitress was very nice tonight. She did a great job of bringing drinks, appetizer and food in a timely manner and kept our drinks refilled. My husband got a wrap and he was shocked and upset at first because of how small it was but he said it was loaded with steak and tasted really good so he was happy with it. I got a burger and it was really good. Perfectly cooked, good flavor and not dry. It really hit the spot.

Update 06/27/24 They were doing music bingo tonight and it was a lot of fun. I got the buffalo chicken tacos and they were really good. I wasn't too thrilled with their salsa but I was pretty full after the 3 tacos anyways.

Update 01/24/25 My husband and I ate here for lunch today. We both got the wings and tenders lunch special for $12.99. It came with 5 wings, 3 tenders and a side. The wings always come out looking dry, like they don't have any sauce so I always have to ask for sauce. Besides that everything was great. Food was delicious and definitely hit the spot. I normally have a good experience at this location, but this visit was horrible... food and service! About 3 Saturdays ago, we visited, it was a busy night we were seated in the back room along with a bigger party that were celebrating a birthday and two other tables that were occupied. It took about 25 minutes to get menus, another hostess gave us those. The waitress took our orders she seemed ok but may have just been overwhelmed, which is understandable. But her attention was solely on the bigger party celebrating a birthday behind us. While we were waiting on drinks ..which was only water... the waitress was chatting it up with the birthday party and taking pictures for them on their camera phones. With the time that passed, we got our food before she brought our drinks, yep I think she forgot. We ordered an appetizer also....still no drinks came out. Ok, we finally get our food...it's cold and my daughter's order is wrong. I was almost done eating, when she came back to chat some more and ask the party if they were ok or needed anything for what seemed like the twentieth time I got her attention to tell her one order was wrong. She corrected it, 10 minutes later the correct order. Finally got our drinks, but not one refill. I had the traditional wings, out of eight only 2 were edible, the rest were half done. Here comes the waitress again, attention on the birthday party they ask her to take one last picture before they leave. She backs up, in our area smiling and asking them to smile for the camera....I wanted to say since you're finally over here can I at least get a refill. She takes the picture, takes the time to get their tickets together...they pay, leave and she comes in to clean. At this point I'm furious, I ask for my ticket, she brings it 15 minutes later...leaves again...I'm sitting waiting on her to come back about 10 minutes pass... finally I said forget it. Food was outstanding! Nice country music playing & college football on the TVs = 2 stars only. Everything else was horrible! They had an 86-B on their inspection so we hesitated but gave them a shot. Our waitress was Jordan. She gave very minimal attention but we still left a tip. We noticed other waitresses giving really good service, so, I'll just leave that right there! After 30 mins waiting & no food or word from her, we were ready to leave but decided to wait 5 more mins. When the food came out 2 mins later, nothing was hot... everything was lukewarm so we figured while the 3 fams that came in after us were getting served, our food must have been sitting under a warmer. But the food was still delish. The restaurant itself was dirty. There was trash on the floor and they tried to 1st seat us in the back in a very small booth so we asked for a table which they then gave us one where the seats were dirty and there was a big puddle of fluid under 2 of the chairs. Hopefully it was soda or water but we weren't sure. The 3rd table was acceptable but we had to wipe it down as it was somewhat cleaned but not well. The furniture in the bathrooms and restaurant are old and really need replacing. The toilets have "film" peeling off the seats (they are in the Home Depot parking lot so that can be an easy fix!) and the vanity top has a giant crack - hopefully no one cuts themselves.
