I came to Sonic knowing that I had enough time to get my blast, drive back to school (which was only three minutes away, if that), park, eat it, and make it back to class on time. I arrived to Sonic at 2:12 and ordered a blast. It took them 9 minutes just to give me a blast! The girl who took my order came out on roller skates. When she got to my car she said "So sorry for the wait! The machine is down." She gave me a token for a free drink of my choice. It was okay at that point. She apologized and gave me something to be even more sincere. I gave her $5.59 when it was $4.59 so obviously I get a dollar back, right? She skates off and I say "I get change back" and she says "yes ma'am". I then state "Oh and please bring a sooon". She again says, "yes ma'am". TWO minutes later she came back with a dollar. I said "where's the spoon?". She said "Oh I have it. Let me go get it real fast,". (Okay obviously if it's not on you at the time, you don't have it. Simple.) At this point it was 2:25. I have 5 minutes to get to class. I'm irritated. I watch her through the window at Sonic. She looks like she is having such a fun time in there! I have no idea what she's doing but it looks like she's fixing her hair, talking to coworkers, and everything between. I am madder than mad. She finally comes out at 2:27 and gives me a spoon! What the heck?! Why should it take a whole FIFTEEN minutes to make an ice cream, give me a spoon, and give me a dollar back in change??? I don't get it. I will never come here again. Not only was I late to class but I got maybe two bites of the ice cream!...
Read moreThis sonic location is the worst I’ve ever been to!! Not going to lie, I LOVE SONIC and pretty much order the same items every time. We just recently moved to Griffin last year and I was excited to see a location being right down the street and I normally order on the app. But today I had cash and had come to this location the past week and paid with cash and a card with no problem. I get there today and when I get to the speaker I ordered my usual burrito. When I was trying to explain I wanted zesty cheese sauce added, she didn’t know what I was referring to and kept asking the same question instead of looking it up. Then I heard laughing like something was funny. It took TOO LONG to order one item. Even I can see what zesty sauce is on the app and don’t know if she was new but when I came to the window I had cash and said I’d pay the balance on my card as I’ve done before. She was rude and kept putting up her hands saying they don’t do split payments. I said I JUST had someone do it the past week and she was like NOPE she can’t do it instead of asking or seeing if maybe it was an option like the last girl did. Her name is AVIANNA and she needs to get her manners together if she’s going to be at the window. Customer service here has been good only ONCE when I visited within the entire past year I’ve come. I’d rather continue ordering in the app and not encountering rudeness but they make you not want to return AT ALL!! Read moreFootlong dogs are the bomb... This visit was off a good bit. I ordered ahead and pulled up and use the app to check in. The stall I was in the screen was black so it wouldn't let me check in. So I pushed the red button and gave my name 4x and was told there was no order, so one of the team members did come out and I gave my name again. Well guess what they had my food but the food was cold and I am assuming but I hope not when placing the order I do not add a tip, I pay tips when I get there. I completely understand that everyone is short staffed but when I pull up after placing a mobile order and only one other car is there and 3 workers, I feel that service would have been @100%+ maybe I am wrong. I didn't complain about the food and the service, I just happily got my order and went back home. I will still go back, just will pull up and place order while sitting there and not ahead of time. Also if screens are not working please take the time to at least place something on it so we don't pull up and then have to move to a different spot. I guess that makes to much sense.
