I just moved to this area and I’ve never seen worse customer service at a Chick Fil A location. There’s honestly been two occurrences but today was just terrible. I come here nearly three times a week and normally order online. The app was freezing up and wouldn’t let me do a mobile order so I drove to the location to let them scan my reward for a spicy chicken sandwich because it expires tomorrow. When I go to the drive thru, the first employee was very polite, scanned it as usual and told me to proceed forward. When I get to the window another girl comes up to my window and asks my name without greeting me and then says it’s $4.37. Puzzled, I reply, “Nooo I just had a free reward scanned.” I show her my phone and the reward and she asks if she can scan it again. I let her take my phone and she’s having trouble and saying it wouldn’t scan and she went and got someone else. Another employee hands my sandwich to me, so I have my item but they’re still challenging me and questioning each other about this $4.37 that I’m telling them I don’t owe. At this point I’m angry and about to pull off but the employee she went to get hands me a receipt of a list of PAST rewards saying she didn’t see my sandwich on there. I show AGAIN my reward on THE APP and that it expires TOMORROW. The guy that handed me my sandwich told me to to just go ahead but by then it was SO RIDICULOUS how long they took to say that even after showing them it’s valid, not expired, and I don’t need to try and steal a damn chicken sandwich. The other incident was someone calling my phone directly while I waited nearly 15 minutes at curbside for a breakfast burrito for them just to snap at me saying they don’t put jalapeños in the breakfast burrito. In Alabama they did so although locations differ she could have said that but was very rude about it and said THEY’D NEVER put that on the burrito. I honestly just Door Dash when ordering from here because the food is great. The people are...
Read more10/25/21: Updated Review - According to Google Maps, I have made 18 visits to this location in Griffin and that's not counting the times I have sent my husband. We have Chick-fil-A at least once every 2 weeks and sometime every week. Generally, the Chick-fil-A restaurants have great service and food. This location is 2nd on my list (2 of 2) Chick-fil-A's who service does NOT meet the Chick-fil-A standards. The first, being Atlanta airport; however, this is slightly understandable as they receive an enormous about of business. Then, there is this Griffin location...often slow, often meals are prepared haphazardly and that expected friendliness is sometimes missing. Last night, 8:30-8:41p, the last straw for this location as I do NOT plan on purchasing from them anymore. Mobile order.... Had to wait and go through the drive-thru with everyone else (no expediting for ordering ahead), get to the window, cashier claims order not ready pull forward, wait, 4 cars ( that were behind us got their orders and left) by the time the 2nd car behind us got their orders, ours was placed in the window (as I was watching the cashier inside and outside chat through the drive-thru window). Our order (2 bags- 2 salads and a brownie) set there through the 3rd and 4th car pickup. Then the cashier proceeded to chat some more as there were no other cars in the drive-thru. Then the outside cashier grabbed the two bags that had been sitting there (without additional items to the bags) and handed them to me. No excuse for the delayed service especially since our order was complete and sitting in the window for several minutes. Again, this location will NOT be getting anymore of my and my husband's business. If anyone should ask me, I would advise them to go to a...
Read moreI’m always having some particular issue with chick fil a, this time on Saturday night through the drive, I ask if they have tortilla soup, the young lady just tells me yes and doesn’t ask so I assume they have it. I get told yes, when I pay it turns out they don’t have it and the young lady told me to just move forward, doesn’t say sorry or if they can change it to something else for me. I get to the window and one of the gentlemen tells me they don’t have it could he change it to chicken noodle soup. We get it changed out for the tortilla soup. I ordered A kids meal, (tortilla soup) that is now chicken noodle soup, a Spicy chicken sandwich deluxe meal, and a side of fries. I get the order and pull to a parking spot and my family checks their meals. My son doesn’t get his fries, I go back and let them know, I get his fries, when I get back to the car my wife lets me know that her soup doesn’t have Chicken in it??? I go inside to the lobby and let them know, now they other young lady tells me she’s sorry and then goes to the back laughing about it, which I guess you can get a laugh out of hands me a container of cold chicken and tells me “it’s cooked” I would hope they don’t give out raw chicken. I go back to the car and open my meal which is wrong. They gave me a regular spicy chicken sandwich at this point I’m just annoyed and leave. Chick fil a please do better. Y’all didn’t check to see if the soup was available and still charged me for it. Y’all forgot my Sons French fries Forgot to put Chicken in a CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP and I still got the wrong sandwich. There’s always something wrong every single time I come here. One of the main reason I stopped going to chick fil a in general. They never get the...
