I don't know what has happened over the last several months, but the curbside pickup service has not only gone downhill, it went over a cliff, into a ravine, then got washed away by rapid water into the ether. The wait time after checking in has gotten longer and longer. Last week it took almost 45 minutes. This week,I put my order in yesterday morning, rescheduled last night because it wasn't shopped for, and I just canceled my order now because it still wasn't shopped for 33 hours later. Why management is only scheduling one runner is beyond me, but these employees are struggling! As someone who is physically disabled, I rely on these services. It's extremely painful to do my own shopping and I know many others rely on this too for various reasons. Get it together Aldi management. Instead of sitting in your little back office area with your Starbucks, get out there and help your people that are struggling to keep up. Y'all...
Read moreI love Aldi! It has all the basics and a lot of the fun stuff you need a grocery store. I shop at this Aldi weekly. I wish it was laid out a little differently, because I don't like the bread being one of the first items you come upon. I love the bread and don't buy bread anywhere else, but I like to fill my cart. So coming back for the bread is a little annoying. The staff here is friendly and helpful. They love kids and recognize my kids. I never get dirty looks about my kids even from other customers. People who shop at Aldi are kind and polite and will trade carts with you and will smile at your toddler while you load up the belt. The employees have helped me find items and return bottles that the machine wouldn't accept. I have returned an item here with no problem. Aldi has a great satisfaction guarantee. Bring your quarter for a carriage and bring or buy your own bags. You're...
Read moreIt was a perfectly usual visit to Aldi's except for an unusually crowded store. Some of the things on my list were easily found and I added a few impulse buys. A number of items advertised were either unavailable (sold out for the day) or unfindable, at least by me. I do routinely ask employees for assistance in locating items, so it's not just me. Love the prices overall but the produce, like ShopRite, is hit or miss (often very close to expiring but not always). I've even found moldy things, like strawberries and raspberries on the shelf; grapes usually need to be eaten within a few days. Apples, tomatoes, celery, potatoes are among the items that generally keep well for a while. Best advice: check your produce very carefully...
