Total loss: $608. I have been here 7 times to wash my dog. I usually get the 5 dog wash card. 6 out of the 7 times the staff have forgotten to give me towels but it wasn't an issue for me bc they just apologized and gave me the towels when I asked. Today i was in the washing area and asked "Nico" the manager for towels. In front of multiple people Nico asked if i had a receipt in a less than inconspicuous way. I was embarrassed but gave him my receipt. He said people steal baths daily, however another employee said it was bc people try to give their dogs flea baths. So not sure why since i was told different things Later i suggested to Nico that next time someone isn't given towels -when he leaves to get the towels he should check with the staff first before asking a guest for their receipt. He said he "asked a perfectly reasonable question and sorry you were embarrassed but it's a fair question" . I didn't say anything about the quality of the question. I recommended an alternative to potentially embarrassing or insulting another guest. It appears Nico can't accept constructive criticism that would alleviate a lot of problems or the loss of $608 minimum. When finished bathing my dog i went to the register and requested a refund for the 5 dog wash deal bc i won't be coming back based on the idiocy of the situation. Staff should have been checked with regarding the bath and staff should be talked to about their inability to remember to provide towels for guests, especially bc Nico stated "people try to steal baths all the time here and thats how we know they didn't pay bc they dont have towels". This leads me to think the staff providing towels when we pay is an easily forgotten task. I also find it incredibly hard to believe that on a daily basis people are stealing dog baths from them, as Nico stated happens. The baths are right out in the open. Pretty hard to sneak one. Like i said 7 baths and was only given towels once. There is a better way to determine theft of a bath that would prevent loss of guests and their $$$ but Nico likes it his way. Additionally on my way out I saw Nico- and calmly told him stating i no longer wanted to come here any longer and walked toward the door Nico called out "thanks for your hospitality" sarcastically. He knew I was upset and chose to fuel the fire. I left furious and told him to shut up. I was coming here weekly so for one year i would have paid $128 on baths alone but when here i also get my dog a $10 treat - $120 a year. I also buy dog food occasionally here - $360 Total loss: $608. I hope it was worth the choice of embarrassing a guest vs checking with staff....
Read moreDr. Whatley should go back to owning veterinarian practices because retail stores are not his forté. Store has become a disaster since Jason sold the business. There’s a clearance section for expiring items that’s tripping hazard for anyone walking the back wall. The grooming salon that I broke my back building is by all accounts still performing poorly after a rushed install with no prospect of groomers besides the one they have when it was originally built for a team of three. And practically buried behind this clearance section which doesn’t look any better in the back than it did in the front. The store inventory they had at the beginning of the year was supposed to fix their quick counts but a brief glance will show a lot of empty product on the shelves. Half the live animal cages are turned around, they don’t appear to have any cats so the room is being used as storage for the ferret cage which is also empty. Dog wash has black mold inside of the drain grates. Fish tanks are dirty and water parameters are most likely off since they haven’t been to thoroughly cleaned since I left in December of 2024, nor bothered to replace the sump door on fish unit bc they never paid the vendor for regular maintenance. They’ve fired or failed the only employees that mattered there. Store manager made self-deprecating comments about herself and her weight on her first day in the building which made me highly uncomfortable. It was easier to resign than pretend I could respect someone who had...
Read moreWelcome to having a pet store who doesnt care about their aquatic. Tanks have TONS black algae (super hard algae to get rid of as well) growing in every tank that it basically takes over the space that theyre shoved into. See ick, a parasitic disease that is highly contagious to all your fish. Rare to actually see these people clean and care for them. Should of took pictures of all the betta fish how they had absolutely no air going into tiny plastic cups bc they didnt poke the holes on the lid, so they all suffocated to death. Told the manager about it and she shrugged it off. They also put the wrong fish together and thats why you see fishes chasing each other, other than the fact they have no space. Peaceful fish and territorial fish obviously shouldnt be put together. What a joke of a place in my opinion. Cant stand walking into this place anymore and I wish these people actually cared about these animal that are...
