This place use to be really friendly and service was great, but over the last year things have drastically gone downhill. Placed an order today at 5:22pm and the app said 7 to 12 minutes. I arrive at 5:35 pm and checked in with approximately 2 walk ins and 2 ppl at counter ordering. At 5:50 I notice all everyone that was at the store ahead of me as well 5 other walk in and 2 delivery orders have gotten there food. So I asked and they simply said it was a web order and they are working on it now. At 6:02 I was asked again what my order was and I was at this point irritated and said my order name and that it's been at least 40 minutes and 10+ walk in orders have been taken ahead of mine cooked and recieved thier food. The chef (red shirt) preceeded to come off the line and tell me that all the walk in orders get prioty over me including ones that order after I have checked in and preceeded that was how they operate I told that isn't fair but is what it is and asked him stop argue with me and make my food and still continued on about how walk in have priority. At 6:12pm I finally recieved my food after no more walkin needed food. At the very least my meal should have been put in line with the walk in the moment I checked in. This store just isn't a friendly store anymore no more smiles no more sense of customer happiness just seems they are filling spots just so they can make money. I used to love talking to the workers here now they all gone and no more friendliness from any of...
Read moreWell, I'd probably go 2 stars, but the burgers (seasoned correctly), bun and cheese are quite flavorful.
The bacon is very overcooked, burnt basically. I'm extremely picky about bacon texture.
Every basic condiment is rebranded as "toppings" and can be included for free. Except the bacon, which isn't a topping there, but from onions to ketchup, BBQ sauce to lettuce, these are all free toppings and even though salt & pepper are free, they didn't make the list, but they're free, over by the napkins, vinegar, and the other ketchup... And it wouldn't kill them to offer garlic, or paper thin fried onions either, like French's.
I see no appeal for their french fries at all. I don't want soggy (maybe they got fries and bacon confused that day), greasy fries with skin on! Unless they're drowned in cheese and/or gravy, peel em, put some batter on them, or onion rings or bags of chips. Garlic would probably help them be appealing as well.
Milkshakes (1/3 of their giant panoramic menu) was unavailable or broken but they have a good beverage area, so I was actually happier with free refills of Cherry Coke and Mello yellow..
Oh, guess I gotta mention the unshelled peanuts were damn good, and I usually hate them anywhere else, but they somehow got salt flavor inside the shell, and roasted them well too. They're better than the fries...
Read moreAfter a long day of driving we pulled into this location and my daughter and I went in to order to go. They don't have a driveway. I mention this because although I have a medical exemption for not wearing a mask, I try to respect distance and use drive-thru or outside pickup when possible. They didnt offer these options. Instead of, "hello, welcome to 5 Guys", I was greeted with,, "maam put on a mask" I explained that I have a medical exemption and that ADA protects me against all mask mandates as it is federal law (trumps all local and state laws) and I have 2 medical conditions that prohibite me from wearing anything over my face. He literally said, "I don't care, put on a mask!" I tried to ask for a reasonable accommodation and he said they wouldn't serve me and asked me to leave amd said he would call thr police if I wanted. This, mind you was the manager. I never thought I'd live to see a day where in America, my medical rights were squashed and I was disrespected. I love 5 Guys and we drove out of our way to eat here, but we left. If you are a free thinker or have a medical condition, avoid...
