Groton store number 029312 Tuesday 7/29/25 7: 35pm. Manager Brian wouldn't give me his last name to report a complaint, so I'm not contacting the store. I was a dine-in order, paid cash, no receipt was given. My order was 3 Supreme Taco meal and a side of pintos and cheese. The meal was correct and tasted very good. However, I literally waited 25 mins for my order !!! There were 10 people working the line. A girl from another store arrived before me to pick up paperwork for the New London store. She was still waiting after I had my dinner!! I asked to speak with a manager. The girl I spoke with went to a female manager and came back to tell me, "She will be with you in a little bit." I waited 5 minutes and no manager came out. Again, I said, excuse me, I need to speak to a manager immediately!! A male asked if he could help me, and I said, " Yes, I need to speak with a manager!" He said, "What's the problem? Again, I said I need to speak with a manager. He said, "I AM a manager" Confused, as I expected the female manager, I asked, YOU'RE the manager!!?? He said, Yes, I'm the manager. I asked for his name, he said, BRIAN. I asked Brian for his last name, in which he said, I'm not giving you my last name! I then said in a stern voice, "Well BRIAN, I need your last name to file a complaint." Again, he said, "I am NOT giving you my last name," turned around and said, Have a good night." Read moreThis is by far one of the slowest late night drive throughs I have encountered so far. No doubt I was in line for at least 25-30 minutes and I was the third car in. Also, another time I was trying to get out of the Taco Bell parking lot and I accidentally went through the drive-thru lane, not knowing you couldn't get through because it was so narrow, unless you were in the drive-thru line getting food. The owners should really put a large sign near the drive-thru entrance saying "drive-thru only" or make that exit wider so people can get out if they accidentally pull in the Drive-Thru lane. I can only imagine what happens if there's a legitimate emergency and no one can get through the drive-through lane because it's too narrow. I've been stuck in there before not knowing it was not wide enough for other cars besides drive-thru and I've sat for about half an hour, 35 minutes just to leave the parking area. Little changes like that would make a huge difference. Also, I do food delivery and I was the only person in the entire drive-thru and the food was ready but the kid couldn't hand it out the window because he said I had to come in, granted it was pouring rain and I didn't want the customers food to get wet so I came in anyway and sure enough there was the food already to go on the counter. You're telling me this kid couldn't grab a bag of food and hand it out the drive-thru window so I can make my deliveries without having soggy wet...
Read moreMaaaaaan. The night crew here is the absolute worst - went out drinking for my Saturday night and when midnight rolled around, I wanted nothing more than a Doritos taco. I got the #8 (3 Doritos taco) and ordered through the drive thru. I’m currently staying in Groton on a trip and staying at the hotel across from the Walmart.. that’s practically across the street from this location. When I tell you, that by the time I got to my hotel room (less than 5 minutes from this location) my food was all crushed up and soggy. Thinking I can use the paper container my tacos are placed in to hold together my food while I attempt to eat… but the crew couldn’t even put the sour cream IN my tacos.. rather than ON my tacos causing everything to literally disintegrate into a horrible mess. Taco, card board AND the wrapping barley holding on. What a disappointment cause I had a huge craving and it was nothing but a huge let down - I will not be returning to this location and will be sure that I express that to anyone I come in contact with who had the same craving I did. Pictures AND videos of my food, on deck for those who want to say I’m exaggerating. What a shame. Get it together. I shouldn’t get the SAME quality of food at 12am that I would expect at 12pm. If you don’t wanna work - let the establishment give that opportunity to someone who’s willing to give the bare minimum because this location is definitely the WORST location...
